My partner took me to this hotel for 2 nights as a surprise for my birthday and I absolutely can’t fault it. From start to finish the staff were so attentive. We stayed in the garden suite and the room was finished to a high standard, the bed was honestly the most comfy bed we’ve ever slept in! We enjoyed breakfast and dined at the hotel for Saturday dinner and Sunday roast lunch. The food was amazing! The staff made it extra special for my birthday with a candle in my morning pastries and also in the dessert after dinner. A special shout out to Michelle and Becky for their kind hospitality, always going above and beyond. Nothing was too much trouble and they both made a real effort to make us feel comfortable with their service. We’ll definitely be returning to both stay and eat and Caistor Hall hotel and can’t recommend it enough.
If you love quality then this is the place for you! Great food, amazing service and a fantastic setting. I love local food that is prepared and presented with care and the chef here certainly does this. The staff on duty were professional and caring and obviously love what they do. We came as casual “walk ins “ but will return again in the not to distant future. Only other advice may be to wear a base layer as the dining room was a tad on the cool side. No photos as we enjoyed ourselves too much to take any.
Lovely one night stay for us. Wonderful service, very friendly staff. Gorgeous setting. Breakfast suitable for adults and children, the waitress went out of her way to keep the youngest child happy . Thank you.Rooms: 5/5
Perfect Christmas Eve dinner and gorgeous buzz with family family and friends. They have been accommodating, fun, happy! Really enjoyed our holiday evening there. And the food is delicious. I would like to say a huge THANK YOU! incredible! What a place, but what makes it, is the people working there! Merry Christmas to all at Caistor Hall by Brasteds!
Very friendly staff & 1 of the owners took time to chat woth me for a good 5-10 minutes. I found the room very spacious & lovely to sleep in. Very accommodating in the morning as I had to rush off for work & provided a takeaway bacon roll, piece of fruit & nice warm cup of tea. Would definitely recommend Rooms: 5/5
Only had a meal at Caistor Hall Hotel on a Friday lunch time. Had the Menu de jour very nice food well laid out and enjoyable. Service excellent. The reception and dining rooms are excellent. Location easy to find with plenty of parking. Will definitely eat here again and would recommend it. Will add a photo next time I done there.Rooms: 5/5
We had lunch at the Caistor Hall Hotel on New Years Day. This is truly a hidden gem in Norwich. The service was beyond excellent from the moment we entered the premises to the point we left. The staff were attentive, friendly and professional. The food was simply divine. A great menu with plenty of options and an extensive wine list. Highly recommended!
From the moment you walk in, it’s a wow factor! From the best espresso martinis to the yummiest Sunday roasts. We just love it so much. Fab service, where nothing is too much trouble.Rooms: 5/5

Surprising foodie destination hotel! Loved the service not quite as polished as London, but refreshing for Norfolk, the decor the country house you wish you owned, the food interesting menu thats difficultto choose from for all the right reasons. But would absolutely changed the tables the attempt at shabby chic just looks - and more importantly, feels - shabby. Looking forward to the 'taster menu only' restaurant opening soon.
