Best outdoor adventures boutique in Aviemore! I visited all the other shops and can tell it is by far the best one. The staff is very helpful and experienced. I would recommend the coffee place on the first floor for bikepacking recovery
Large selection of goods, something for everyone! Defenetly worth a look, and the benefits of usually always having a sale on!
Most likely the worst I have been treated in a cafe. Me and my partner came in from a hill day order two hot chocolates and waiting for the kitchen to open again after a shift change. 40 Minutes went by.... no hot chocolates... We decided to leave, no one even asked ehy we were leaving. I'm not one to moan about cafes being busy and slow service. This cafe was not busy and no service
Helpful and knowledgeable staff. They were incredibly informative to us and provided suggestions of what to do despite our limited time. We hit there during a sale so the prices seemed incredibly reasonable and for the most part the standard prices were on par with what one would expect. They have a great selection of books and guides to help you figure out which hikes ade best for you.

One of the smallest outdoor shops I've seen in the UK but one of the only ones I'll actually spend any time in. I worked in an outdoor retailer for a long time and have been very impressed with how genuinely knowledgeable the staff are as well as how high quality the kit is - obviously a carefully curated selection that is consistent with my own professional and personal experiences of the product. Beyond that, as a medically compromised family, it's nice seeing that there's at least one staff member that still wears masks regularly and the salesperson who helped me with my jacket whose name I regrettably never caught quickly put on a mask without my asking him when he saw me wearing one. There's not too many places I feel I can shop reasonably safely at this point but the fact that the quality, expertise, and consideration I'm looking for is available in this one shop makes this an easy choice for me when looking for gear, even if it's 30 minutes away.
