Super welcoming staff with a warm Italian atmosphere. Very convenient for a quick bite at lunch. Clean and bright inside, comfortable seating and a nice view of the street outside. Decent sized menu with lots to show, including a 2 course offer. Plentiful food portions and excellent value for money, will definitely return. Highly recommended.
My daughter and I have been in here a few times now. I find the service and the food lovely. The breakfast is really filling and we also had lunch which has been really nice too. A lovely little place to eat and drink with your family.
Highly Recommend. On our recent expedition to Lincoln, we were hungry to taste, something different and savoury. After some research, we fell for Cafe Zoot Restaurant and although I wasn't so sure by the name, actually it come up as such delightful experience. Beautiful food!! I love my rice chicken chorizo paella and carpaccio. I loved the presentation of the stats. The main course was delicious. Excellent hygiene. The service is quite friendly and attentive. Price reasonable. We would definitely back and recommended it Cafe Zoot.
A nice cafe close to the cathedral and the castle. Mostly Italian cuisine: pizza, pasta, but also some burgers and chicken. The service was very friendly, and the food came super quick.Food: 4/5
Came here as the menu sounded really good quality, but the food that we received was burger van quality, ordered the ribs with triple cooked chips, beer battered onion rings and home made coleslaw. The ribs were ok nothing special, same as you can buy in the supermarket, the chips and onion rings were just out of a bag in the freezer, coleslaw definatly not home made. Arancini was so bland, it literally tasted of nothing. The other main was the blade of beef, with dauphinoise potatos, and honey roasted carrots. The beef was boil in the bag, dauphinoise was not made in house, dry no sauce. Carrots were just bog standard, not honey roasted. Fried tenderstem had been boiled and sat in a pool of water. Overall really poor, such a shame as the place had a nice feel, staff didnt care at all when we complained about the quality.
A very good restaurant with a wide selection of food and friendly smiley staff. I had the Paella whilst two of my companions had burger and the other a rib eye steak. Would go back...in fact we actually did go back!Food: 5/5
A restaurant mainly oriented to tourists visiting Lincoln, located near the Cathedral. It has a range of food choices, mainly British and Italian. The atmosphere was pleasant and servers were very kind, but the food itself didn't match the cost I realize they're tourists prices but still.
We visited Cafe Zoot yesterday for my birthday meal. I ordered the Wild Mushroom Bruschetta to start with, but sadly the “wild” mushrooms must have been tamed because they were just ordinary button mushrooms which had been quartered. The other two starters were good. Mains time, Blade of Beef which was good, Carbonara which had onions in which was a little unexpected and I had the chicken with leeks and wild mushrooms… must be a common theme, the mushrooms weren’t in the dish when it was served so I had to ask for them, they only arrived after I’d finished eating. We were really looking forward to this as being somewhere different, especially as it was my birthday, and somewhere that we hadn’t tried before but for what it was, I have to say it was expensive as well. Not sure we will be going back.
Read some recent reviews and was a little apprehensive about booking, but thought give it a go. So here is our review. Warm friendly restaurant with welcoming staff. We arrived early and was taken straight to our table. The staff were very quick and efficient, if not a bit too quick, but you can never win on this. We ordered and the food soon arrived, and it was delicious. This was the same across all three courses, the food is well presented and great sized portions. Over all this is a fantastic great value restaurant with wholesome food that all will love. We are now deciding when to go try breakfast! Thanks for a great meal
Their service and food was great. Love their pasta and mozzarella with smoked duck carpaccio.
