Fantastic place, I had a standard breakfast with a cappuccino, the coffee was the best I have had for a while and the breakfast was a good size for the money. Love the work the cafe does with the community and had to ask for more information and I was so impressed. I saw some of the homemade scones on my way out and had to have some to take away, the scones were prepared with the best cream ever and a generous dollop of jam at a bargain price. I couldn't have found a better place and the next time I'm in Whitehaven I will be visiting.

My two children and I love having lunch in Cafe West. The toy box is crammed with different toys and the food is always top draw ! I love their home made bread. It is not only a local business but a social enterprise too, helping local people learn customer service skills while gaining self confidence and work experience.

Great little find, can't beat a community cafe. Shame the lady next to us thought it was ok to mock the staff. They all do their absolute best here.
