Service is really good but the food is rubbish as not worth the money. Steak very under cooked then when sent back, very over cooked. Bouillabaisse served cold and very poor quality, also sent back. Kids burger had been microwaved so was harder than a biscuit. Sorry but for a high street restaurant it's just not good enough. Avoid this place if you like going to a restaurant to eat something. 2 stars but only because of good service by front of house. The head chef needs replacing.

I had a nice meal there with my parents recently. It had a nice atmosphere and the staff were exceptionally friendly. The only issue I could find is possibly a bit too pricey for the porptions provided. However, if you stick to the cheaper set course menu then you should be fine.

Attended for breakfast for the 9.95 deal. Juice was fresh and probably the best part of the deal. Portions sizes for breakfast were quite small with the scrambled eggs clearly microwaved, bread was like a brick and the bacon soggy. Poor effort boys.

Hi , not only do I work in Caf'e Rouge in Canterbury I highly recommend that you come and visit this restaurant as it is a friendly atmosphere and always clean and tidy. The food is superb, no complaints at all. Gina

Good central restaurant in Canterbury. Very French in style and cuisine. Food is great and so is the ambiance.
