I'm really sorry, I am not one to write bad reviews but what the hell has happened to this place. This used to be best place for kebabs hands down, their kebab wrap used to be the best thing I've ever tasted. This was around maybe 10 years ago and me and my family used to order from here atleast once a month. I've ordered twice again from this place and it has been a major downgrade. Even our local chippy seems to put more flavour in their kebabs. Their salad selection is pathetic compared to 10 years ago and their kebab meat is tasteless. And their prices do not reflect the quality of product you receive. My previousand most certainly last order I got from their shop was a "king-sized" kebab wrap which is anything but king-sized, and the taste was disappointing. Some cold chips that resembled and tasted of cardboard and also some buffalo wings that looked like they had better days. To be honest the wings taste was not bad but they were dry and small so even the taste could not save it. These are all pictured. You may think it's my camera that makes them look lifeless but alas that is pretty much what they looked like in real life. Please, what ever you have changed with your ingredients and the way you make/do things. Change it back. You were easily the BEST place to get food 10 years ago, now all I can suggest is avoid this place.
I was introduced to Pavilion by one of my friends. There was serious hype, so I had high, high expectations. I went for the lamb chops and spicy wings they were the recommended choices. The spicy wings were incredible - super soft and succulent, packed with flavour and a hint of lemon. The garlic mayo sauce complimented them superbly. I could easily devour 21 in one sitting. As for the lamb chops - they were sumptuous. The seasoning was great and it was cooked very well - the meat was juicy and it was easy to chew. It came with a salad and some fries, which was very tasty. I’ve been to this spot over 5 times now, so it’s fair to say there’s good consistency here. I’ve eaten in at every occasion, so that’s my recommendation for freshly cooked food. The staff are super nice and thoughtful. The seating is quite compact and dark, which does dim the experience. The tables could also be a little cleaner. The prices and portions are decent, considering the area. If you’re around west London, especially Heathrow or Cranford or Hounslow ends, you absolutely have to go here for grilled chops and wings. I’ll certainly be returning. 9/10.
Really bad food !!!!smell from meat !!portion it’s too small.ordered chicken shish large portion but they give to small.Chicken wings I will put to rubbish bin ,but we pay £38 .not reccomended,don’t put money to waste !!!!!
When card machine is fully operational and not relying on customers to have to go and withdraw cash in 2022… I will edit and change my review to 5 star. The food is always good. Only awkward issue is asking for cash as main method of payment.
This place may have been a decent late night eatery back in the day but after struggling to find anywhere late night in the week and lazy to cook at home we thought to give this a go many years later and had to bin everything at home! We ordered one vegetarian potato wrap and one meat kebab large wrap. Both looked so empty dry and cheap as the lady was preparing them with her long nails and NO GLOVES. She went to take payment on a manual till and then back again to touch the food and had handled cash in between as they do not accept card payments. My other half who does eat meat said it was the worst kebab wrap he's ever had and we both binned it all straight away. I am a strict veggie and dont know what I was thinking to accept that contaminated and horrible dry empty wrap but felt bad as soon as the lady had started preparing so we just paid £20 odd pounds complete rip off for some dry poorly cooked unedible food. NEVER AGAIN! Can make so much better at home. NOTE: The vegetarian potato wrap looked so horrible and the fear of it having touched her hands and meat products put me off so much I didnt even try it with fear of getting a bad belly too Vegetarian options: Potato wrap but worst place for a proper/ strict vegetarian as items will have been contaminated next to meat items. Lack of salads and food handling hygiene is poor!
Received 2 of my sauces spilled all over the bag without a single drop left over in the pots. Then opened up my chicken shawarma with salad and honestly the chicken tasted off like it’s some old leftover chicken. Will not order from here again!!!!
Disappointing. Large lamb shish was 6 very little pieces of lamb. Not worth the price, clearly if you think you paying for a large portion you are not - side salad Disappointing too, old and tiny. I also ordered a chicken grilled burger and again the piece of chicken is so small. Cannot get more ridiculous... asked for cheese, tomato and onions and didn't get none of it.. Therefore i will not order again.
I made an order on the phone yesterday and I was not told once ‘CASH only’ - once I arrived and my food was packed he said no card cash only. I didn’t bring my card as I usually just pay by Apple Pay & wasn’t told to bring cash over the phone. Anyway I got there he said your total is £11.70. I said I haven’t got my card can I do a bank transfer. He said just use Uber eats pick up and pay there I said fine. I said I will order £11.70 worth of stuff so you get your money, NO HE WANTED ME TO ADD EACH ITEM as you know costs extra on Uber eats anyway and said oh well you don’t have cash so u can pay on there and it’s extra. Sorry but just because I didn’t have cash doesn’t mean I should have to pay extra. I’ve been to restaurants more accommodating and who show a lot more respect to their customers. Both the men were rude disrespectful and should learn how to speak to anyone let alone a mother with her baby. To top it off the meat was bland and hard as a rock and gave me an upset stomach so definitely will not be returning again. Reply: Like I said, you didn’t tell me your card machine wasn’t working and I said I didn’t have my card on me. You should’ve accommodated that in a respectful manner. Not got greedy and tried to charge me more. And secondly- your card machine clearly never works. Change your internet provider, more so, It’s not the publics problem that you are avoiding paying correct tax.
Great local kebab joint, the wraps and salad options are fantastic and best is quality and taste is largely consistently good for past 20 off years of me having been here.Food: 5/5
Always a perfect choice for kebabs very good service, very friendly and helpful staff. My favourite place Food: 5/5
