We went to this place on a week day for lunch, we were with two small children. We are been a good time, they had menus and chairs suitable for children. The choice is vast, the prices are average and the service was very very good.
The waiter we had was wonderful and very attentive. The food was amazing, the prices are cheaper than we expected. My daughter loves the hot chocolate from here. All the staff were helpful and we plan to return on our next trip. Kid-friendliness: Kid’s chicken plate was wonderful.
I had a wonderful lunch at Cafe Rouge with my two friends not too long ago and it was FANTASTIC. There were some things not available but the staff made us aware and were super helpful and friendly. Took our order and served the food very promptly, and the food was DELICIOUS! I had the garlic bread starter with a cheese omelette and I have to say it was the best omelette I've ever had. Well worth a visit!
Affordable French lunch in Windsor On my last reel, I have a French lunch with @mochi.mak in @cafe_rouge Windsor. It’s a dog friendly Bristo and the atmosphere was relaxing. @cafe_rouge 31-32 Royal Station Parade, Thames St, Windsor SL4 1PJ The fillet was beautifully grilled to medium rare. It’s soft and tender. The French Rolled Omelette with mushroom was flavourful. Onion soup was a bit disappointed. The croutons were quite hard with just a little cheese The foods were ok and the service was good. It’s a good place for lunch especially with furry baby. Follow me on Instagram @ccgyozalover for more delicious food
Great meal. Super tasty food. Really well looked after by very attentive servers. Almost a 5 star. Would definitely recommend... and used Tesco Clubcard vouchers so only paid for drinks and tip! What's not to like? Tres Bon!
Had afternoon tea here. Unfortunately it seemed like they were understaffed which affected the service. The only good thing about the location is that the 'outdoor' tables do have a roof the station and it's convenient if you are coming or going on a train. But it was cold, they say they have heaters but those are not at all the tables. No space to put bags or coats really and felt uncomfortable as members of the public were just walking through the tables despite not being guests at the restaurant. Food was average and menu was not clear about what choices you have for the afternoon tea. Atmosphere was that of a train station/shopping centre. I would come back if it were quieter and I was sitting inside and I would not choose the afternoon tea.
Terrible experience at Café Rouge in Windsor. Staff was rude, fries were cold and soggy, the heating was off and it was freezing, bathrooms were suuper dirty and no baby changing facilities even if there is loads of space to install it in the bathrooms. They do have high chairs for babies. Kid-friendliness: They have high chairs for babies/children.
We didn't book but they managed to find us a table for 6 on a Saturday staff were so friendly and helpful especially BertrandM really excellent manager, food was beautiful especially the Harissa burger, highly recommend definitely be back!Food: 5/5
Great atmosphere, friendly staff and the food was delicious. We had breakfast and it will definitely keep us full till dinner.
Pleasant service but the food quality is appalling. Particularly the eggs royale. Canned hollandaise and rancid salmon on a stiff dry bun. Not amazing, save your money.
