A pleasant mid range French bistro at the back part of the mailbox, overlooking the canal. Service was excellent. Food was a bit dry but prompt. Brilliant value with promotion. Good for a quick bite and they have very good offers for cocktails and happy hour.
Went to Cafe Rouge for lunch and everything was excellent. The restaurant is airy and tidy and although we didn't have a reservation, we were given a table immediately. Staff was very efficient and friendly and the food tasted lovely. Very good value for money. I would definitely recommend this place.
Was quite a lovely place and very yummy food. The blood orange martini was delish!! We also started with French Onion soup him and a Roquefort salad me which was very rich but awesome. We both had the Minute steak and tasted soo flavourful I didn't want it to end. Would love to go again on our next visit...
Always come for breakfast or brunch so cannot comment on the lunch/dinner options however breakfast options are very decently prices roughly spend around £6/7. Service is great .... waiters are very polite and attentive and friendly. Also have lovely and clean toilets. Lovely decor. Everything combined when your in cafe rouge it really does feel like your in a quaint cafe in france.
We ordered two rump steaks medium rare which seemed to not have any seasoning at all and it was so rare that you could hardly chew on. And sweet potatoes, half of them were mushy, but delicious. All in all atmosphere, staff and music is cool, but food not so great.
Poor service. The staff was really not polited make mistake with our glasses for beer and coke. Food was not that nice it was just looking well. We was sitting on table that is outside but still non smoking area. Toilets was bit dirty so I really don't recommend this place there's lots more better than this around it!
Had a nice Christmas menu meal here, service a bit on the slow side but I'll forgive them as it was very busy indeed. Waiters very attentive and pleasant. Very noisy atmosphere though which was added to with piped music.
Service was great. The staff are very welcoming and friendly. We had a beef burger which was a bit dry and a chicken burger which was nice.
Egg Benedict I will give 2/5, cannot give more. The bread tastes like expired bread from Tesco. One more star for the atmosphere and location. Recommend for coffee and juice, but not food please!
Delicious food. Great atmosphere. Good service.
