Absolutely delicious spot! The interior is a little chaotic but it’s cute, and the food is lovely: we for jacked potatoes the portions were huge and super tasty!
Not bad. Not great either. I had the Scottish Breakfast. The mushrooms and the haggis were my favorite parts. One side of my toast was burnt. My wife had the British Breakfast, and she didn’t like the black pudding. Everything on our plates seemed kind of carelessly thrown together. Though I wasn’t expecting anything special, since I knew this was a casual diner, I was hoping for good cooking. 2.5 stars.
The bagel was OK but there was sth wrong with the burger. My bf started feeling sick and had to throw up a lot.. I wouldn't recommend this restaurant. I think the burger petty was not that fresh. We ordered another one but the staff said it was out of order so we just accept the alternative one hamburger patty
My wife and I have eaten here twice since arriving. We found the coffee to be excellent especially the mochaccino and the food to be well prepared and flavorful. We had the American breakfast and it was delicious. So was the French Toast. The portions were a good size not huge which we like. We highly recommend this restaurant. Very good value for money.
Great place to have a meal and/or a drink. The food was delicious and prepared quite quickly at good price. Outstanding, friendly and welcoming staff. You can sit outside and enjoy a bit of sunshine, the street is not very busy or noisy or inside- enjoying cosy interior. The tables are in reasonable distance from each other. Very much recommend!
Food was nice but French toast only had one bit small bacon on each slice 2 which seems a bit mean for £8.50 and I had few items taken off my breakfast that I didn’t want but they weren’t replaced by anything else. Very tight with portions and give you change in coins so you leave them a tip… my tip is give bigger portions. Not very impressed as this somewhere I visit every time I come to Edinburgh.

My favorite spot in edinburgh, will seriously miss this place when I leave!! Food is absolutely delicious, portions are large, coffee is the best I've had so far and the staff is very friendly. The service is fast and the place being small makes it easy to get attention from the servers.
Brilliant food brilliant service, nice clean and great choice of food, brilliant cappuccino too. The salad I had was delicious and it wasn't just nice on the top and dry on the bottom, it was the same all the way through. Its a little cafe with plenty of space though about 5 tables for 4 and a little table for 2 and plenty of social distancing
Delicious food and lovely staff! Stopped here this morning to fuel up for a day of sightseeing and had the most DELICIOUS breakfast! Great portion sizes and staff are very welcoming and friendly. Would highly recommend!
