Not only did I get delicious food from Meg, the extremely friendly owner, but also valuable advice on how to best spend my time in Edinburgh, given that I had only 5 hours before the departure of my train. She made me feel home immediately in a city and country that I visited for the first time, and that I had just arrived in.
Good bacon rolls, average coffee, friendly owner.
Meg is the sweetest lady I've met! She makes fresh food, and has a lot of variety according to the different diets Vegan, vegetarian, gluten free Plus, she has a zero waste cafe, cups and cutlery are compostable! You should totally visit her!
Great local place for coffee, brunch or lunch. Meg is the best.
I've lost my way to office as a courtesy of Google maps. Accidentally landed at this place ...and found an amazingly "friendly staff, tasty food at fair price". Tried the Scottish vegetarian Haggis, it was so delicious. I'd highly recommend this place!
Lovely soup. Freshly made roll. Entirety of flatware was compostable too.
