Eaten here a lot. Normally for a coffee and a cake, or a breakfast. Always a high standard of food and service friendly and polite. First time I've had a Steak Pie with an actual steak under the top. Lovely.
We had brunch of filled rolls follwed by delicious freshly baked scones. The coffee was as good as it is in Italy - praise indeed!Food: 5/5

very impressed with the breakfast meal, the staff in our opinion went the extra mile so to speak, especially the blonde lady. The interior was spotless, welcoming with reasonable prices. In fact the service was that good, we called next morning before heading home. Ian & marlyn.
I was in today with 85/93 year old aunts, we placed order, the service was good, place was clean and excellent Covid conditions. When checked back my aunt informed them the Bakewell Tart was dry and no jam on the inside or trace of almonds. The owner behind the counter may no doubt that she was talking about us The bill was then placed in front of us with no apology I then informed her I was not happy to pay for it and was treated to abusive tone and I was talking rubbish SHOCKING CUSTOMER SERVICE
Lovely place, excellent for just coffee n cakes amazing selection would recommend the meringue, to full lunch.....great menu. Staff all masked up, social distancing followed and tables sanitised between customers.
