Excellent food. All fresh. Very friendly staff. Great choice in Oxford Market.
Came in in the afternoon. The cafe was nearly empty. We had scones with clotted cream and jam. Tasted excellent. Staff was very friendly. We enjoyed our short rest here!
Breakfast bacon, egg, sausage, beans, tomato, mushrooms, toast was surprisingly high quality given the low price. I was expecting 5% meat sausages and bacon that you could see through but was pleasantly surprised with seemingly high quality ingredients. It loses two stars, however, for the incredibly surly staff. Talk about service with a scowl. Not only that, but I asked for the water jug to be refilled so I could have a drink and had to wait until I'd finished my meal for it to be attended to and not by the person I had asked.
Top place for breakfast, I've been coming every week for months and the food and drinks are consistently at a high standard. Lovely staff who are always polite and helpful. I've been round all of Oxford and I can safely say that this is the best place for a cooked breakfast. Highly recommend!!
Had the chicken tikka paratha with chips and salad. Food was cooked fresh and was tasty. Salad was very simple and the chips were no doubt frozen but for £6.50 in the covered market you cant really complain. This place is good value for money and a comfortable 3 stars.
Went in with some friends after spotting their large signs advertising "vegan options." Two of the party were vegan and one was vegetarian. We asked the woman serving us about the vegan options since they were not listed on the menu. She shrugged and smiled sheepishly. We asked again and she explained that they have no vegan options apart from a single variety of flapjack. We ordered that and some soy lattes. Nope, sorry, they don't stock soy or any other non-dairy milk so none of their coffees can be done vegan. I asked the woman why they have multiple signs not just one! advertising that they cater to vegans when clearly, they do not. She shrugged again, pulled out a menu and gestured to it. "The sandwich toppings might be vegan, you look and tell me. I can give you some toppings." Yes, she was literally offering me a plate of sliced tomatoes and lettuce leaves and wanted me to do the work of identifying for her which items were vegan. Really unimpressive. I appreciate that there is a vegan flapjack sourced from the same company who makes them for Greens but if you're going to post numerous signs advertising your vegan options not just your vegan flapjack, you need to actually HAVE options that your employees are able to identify for customers.
Not particularly busy, nearly had to beg to be served. Every table stacked with dirty dishes. Delivered coffee to table and left without clearing away previous customers dishes or wiping dirty table. Salt pepper pots sticky. Food ok but overall poor. As a local gives a bad impression to visitors. Luckily plenty of options.
How dreadful this place was. Very rude staffs at this cafe, good presentation of food, but very poor quality of food. The place is not always cleaned and again, very bad taste of the food. Very disappointed at this place. Not recommending for this place. If you want brunch mind your self go somewhere else please.
Terrible, the worst place I've ever been to! The service was extremely horrible. We had to ask them a couple of times to clean the table, it took a really long time to order and the staff were not clued on what is on the menu. The food took a really long to arrive and it was the worst bean burger I've ever had.
I used to really love this place and go on a regular basis. First time back in a while and the staff were so rude. Such a shame. The food is still great but don't think I'll be going back
