Food, as usual was amazing. Staff were lovely. Only problem was the bill. An extra bottle of wine had been put onto it that hadn't been consumed and mistakenly brought to me when I hadn't asked for it, but was charged for it! Also an extra £32 appeared on the bill from somewhere snd no one could fathom where!! There were quite a few of us and maybe they thought we wouldn't notice. I don't know. Disappointing though as I had been there quite a few times and loved the food and service, but have not been since !

And on our 2 course lunch menu, for £3.95. Seriously?

We simply couldn't believe what good value this place is.

Went looking for somewhere to eat while visiting Shildon Rail Museum and went past a number of tatty places before coming upon Savinos Cafe.

Waitress' were excellent
Value was excellent
Restaurant was nice
Food was very nice.

My only gripe was that the meat pizza's contained 'reformed pork'. At least the restaurant is honest about it, but I'd like to see actual meat on the menu. We went for the veggie option.
