Story

Café Japan, situated a stone’s throw from Golders Green tube station, has been a local favourite among residents of north-west London for more than 15 years. Specialising in the freshest sushi, as well as many favourite Japanese hot dishes such as teriyaki and tempura, once you taste our food you’ll soon realise why we’ve remained for so many years a popular destination for authentic Japanese food in London.

We welcome take-away orders during our opening hours, and food can be ordered by calling 020 8455 3507.

Excellent authentic sushi, undoubtedly the best sushi around. Great service, kind attentive staff. High quality fish. Highly trained sushi chefs. Nice atmosphere. Covid-safe. Currently offering reduced service of takeout and Deliveroo only due to current covid restrictions. The price is worth paying for a high-end product.
Having just come back from 3 weeks in Japan we needed our fix of authentic Japanese food and if that’s what you’re looking for then come to Cafe Japan in Golders Green lovely food lovely service and cold Asahi. Great stuff
Last week was our first time we came to that fine restaurant. But It is no doubt not the last time. We enjoyed the evening a lot with the good service, with the finest cuisine and fine drinks and with the decent price. We will absolutely come back again.

This is one of my favourite Japanese restaurant in London. The atmosphere is buzzy... busy most evenings so booking highly advisable. The food is great, all fresh and loaded with flavours. The sushi is delicate and delicious. If you sit at the bar...you see it all! The premises have been improved a lot... the food has always been great.
Always had been a huge fan of food from Cafe Japan, this restaurant serves authentic Japanese cuisine with a touch of delicacy. A great team of serving staffs and chefs that treat you super well alongside with the cozy environment.
Omg Ask for the omakase at the countertop, everything is fresh and delicious. The salmon belly is a must.
