Love this place. 1st went here about 45 years ago with my gran. My fave was mince pie topped with mash and beans washed down with a coke float! . My gran would have a wee milky coffee with a vanilla slice x
Very happy friendly service. The best scones I ever tasted and the only cafe that makes my tea exactly as I like it. The retro 60's ambiance and decor is a bonus!!
It was here that I discovered many years ago that I love coffee. Nowadays I think that is not only provides that, but a greater variety of cooked food and baking. Prices are reasonable, and if one is nostalgic, it is a step back in time to the 1950s. It has been in the Cross Wynd all my life and I still go there when I am in the town as I know what to expect. I was in there last Saturday for the all day breakfast and I loved it. Simple fast and hot.
A little bit more expensive than other cafes in the town. That being said there is a good variety of food available. Toilets are down a tight staircase and are not suitable for disabled customers.
One person in front of me waited about 5 minutes to be served as 3 people dealing with one customer unsure what to charge for his breakfast, I ordered a scrambled egg roll and a cheese toastie for my grandaughter, I had finished my roll and had to ask where the toastie was, I was told it was just ready, I could still see the staff dealing with other customers before our toastie was bought across which was burnt and the cheese not melted inside. Sorry but won't be back.
Could do with a make over but the great coffee and amazing baking make up for that. Hugely popular. Really nice staff. Best cherry scone ever.
The best cafe in Dunfermline bar none. Actually my favourite cafe anywhere. Charming surroundings, amazing friendly staff and the food is always exceptional.
I went to Cafe Giacomo many times as a child and it will always remain as my favourite cafe. I would highly recommend Cafe Giacomo. 10/10 every single time.
Nice wee café. Home baking, toasties, soup etc. Friendly staff. Lots of regular customers.
Very disappointed with quality and price! £ 4 for a sandwich with very little filling. Coffee and tea were not bad, but expensive.
