Cafe location is beautiful and could potentially be a lovely place to have a coffee. However, one of the waitresses with dark hair was really rude to my friends and I. It was a pretty uncomfortable experience and would prefer not to feel like a school child when spending money in a cafe. Probably wouldn’t go back but it’s a pity because it is a lovely place, but wish it had been a more relaxing experience.
Love this little cafe. The lady that owns it is so nice and friendly. Take away and sit in options available. She makes great coffee, sandwiches, toasties and a huge selection of baked goods and chocolates. Last time I got a 99 ice cream. Perfect pit stop before heading onto the beach to enjoy the current good weather.
Highlight of my week in Ireland. So tiny, cosy and tasty and had some lovely conversations.
It is now 6 in the morning, I have not yet gone to sleep. I was about to nod off when I thought how awesome one of the "cafe de la gare" bake wells would be. So I have now decided to stay up until they open in pursuit of one, these bakewells are a power to be reckoned with. Im going to buy four.
Couldn't beilieve my own two ears of how rude the blonde lady was behind the counter when I asked her for a ten euro note or even a fiver because all I had was €2's and I didn't think the machine took coins when also the person in front had just handed her a five note and she rudely looked at me and just told me NO !! So rude could have said it in a better manner
Delicious coffees, expertly prepared and served. I have never tried the food, but I say the standard would be very good.
Freindly staff excellent coffee superb home cooking nice touch they allways leave out a dogwater bowl outside the door

Super tasty coffee to take on the dart. Lovely kind lady behind the counter too.
Very small, nowhere to really sit down if there are more than 1 customers. Strange atmosphere.
