It’s good place for breakfast. I have tried halal sausage egg , hashbrown. Best restaurant for breakfast near Wanstead station. Dinning is available.
Really was looking forward to coming here. It's very expensive, for the quality and small portion sizes. Food was not so tasty and the service was very poor. Not sure why this place is rated highly on Google and various delivery apps. Don't bother. You can get more and better for less money. Limited menu also
The food is v nice & owners friendly - but unfortunately they now allow dogs which is very unhygienic. The owner being a certian religion did not used to allow dogs but now dogs hang around other peoples tables when trying to eat and a dog was sitting on one of the outside chairs was this cleaned after? and the dog water bowl makes me feel ill as I hate all dogs. I noticed 2 dogs even going inside the café while the owner paid.
Horrible place. Food was so bad we hardly touched it. Before paying informed the waitress, she just said-alright. This is eggs benedict. Yes. That’s how the pouched egg look like, apparently
The first time I came here, I was not impressed by the coffee and the counter contents never looked very appealing, so I never ate here. However, recently I ran into a friend who was eating a Salt Beef sandwich. I decided to try it and I was amazed at how good it was. I usually have to go to Selfridges to get a decent Salt Beef sandwich. This was great value and came with a side salad and a drink for £6!! The photo does not do it justice, as it does not show the filling. The coffee has also improved and comes with a little biscuit, which I always think is a nice touch. I did have to wait more than 20 mins but it was worth it.
Modern and welcoming Cafe. Staff are friendly and the food is fantastic. Very filling and tastes really nice. Came here with my dad who had a full English and he will also recommend this place.
Burnt breakfast is disappointing to say the least. My daughter got a burnt cheese omelette and I got a burnt English breakfast: burnt fried egg, charred mushrooms. Only the bacon was nice.
Awful food, don't know how to make scrambled eggs. Feel so sick
I had the double full English breakfast and I was really really great! In fact the best in Wanstead in my experience. First time stuff was properly cooked and not just fried till dark and hard.
I found the place quite grubby. Food was unfortunately overcooked. No Rishi’s half price discount I should have checked before hand, but it should also have been made clear when I ordered. Coffee was decent.
