Was walking around Leigh trying to find a buggy friendly place to eat and have a coffee and found this gem hidden away. I’ve been to Leigh several times and never noticed it before but so glad I did! Originally only came for coffee the latte was honestly amazing and I’m a BIG coffee enthusiast! but after browsing the tapas menu I was tempted and ended up ordering the mushrooms so good- the flavour was spot on and another dish I can’t remember the name of crispy potato cubes with sour cream and salsa - so delicious as a vegetarian the options were there. The owner was really friendly too - he spoke to us and really made us feel comfortable and welcomed. I will be coming back for date nights and for lunch once again. Thankyou again! Keep up the amazing work : Vegetarian options: Delicious tapas even for veggies! Kid-friendliness: Really good for bringing pushchairs/prams! So much space in comparison to other cafes and restaurants that aren’t so accommodating and feel crowded! As a new mum, finding a place to eat that is buggy friendly is a MUST and I would not go to a restaurant/cafe that didn’t cater for this. Our lunch group of 21 visited this venue today and everyone has nothing but praise for the delicious tapas served. The table layout was especially moved into an L shape so we could all sit together and the atmosphere was relaxed and very noisy! We highly recommend the lunch.
Have lived in Leigh-on-Sea for over 6 yrs and never noticed this little gem. Hubbie and I went on a Wednesday lunch time and they had 3 tapas for £15. We ordered 6 between us and can truly say they were gorgeous. Hubbies went as far as to say the best Calamari he's had outside Spain. Lovely place, very friendly staff and amazing food. We'll definitely be back .
I have been twice in the last six weeks. Really great food and friendly staff who can't do enough for you and very welcoming. The venue is ideal for small or larger bookings.
Had a walk down from the dentist today and stumbled across this little place hidden away in the arcade.. would definitely recommend eating here pint of sangria with some mustard chicken, fries, cod bites and ham and cheese croquettes .. it really hit the spot.
Food was lovely. Went previously mid week which was very nice. However went tonight 6.30 on a Saturday and ridiculously loud club music playing. Is this a tapas bar? Why would you play loud club music early on a Saturday. Pretty much cleared the place. Total turn off.
This review is LONG overdue! Back in February, my husband and I spent a week in Leigh on Sea. We happened upon this wonderful tapas bar tucked away at the end of the arcade, and we were not dissapointed! The Espresso Martini was excellent and the various tapas plates we ordered were delicious! We visited 4 times in the week we were there. I think the owner served us the first time and then we had other wait staff and they were all very friendly. If we are ever back in Leigh on Sea, we definitely plan on making this a stop.
Great food, everything you would expect from a tapas restaurant. Menu was the right amount of choice, not too little and not to much , had 6 dishes which was more than enough for 2 of us. Good choice of beers, had I not been driving I would have tried the wine list and sherry. Friendly and engaging staff. Definitely a destination on The Broadway for something a little more adventurous than a pizza or burger, try it !
Best tapas I've had outside of Spain. Service was first class and the menu was fantastic. Every dish we tried was brilliant and we got a free bottle of house wine because it was a Wednesday. First of many visits, thank you for a great evening!
Absolutely delicious chorizo in red wine accompanied by a glass of wine. What could be better for a Friday afternoon? Went at 3pm and the only people there Hope to try a lunch or evening next time. Very pleasant service.
