DO NOT go here!!!!! The staff have no customer service skills what so ever and are very rude. 40p to sit down and eat food after paying £6 for lunch is a joke. Also when i finished my lunch the woman actually ran out the shop to confront us about our friend who tried to sit down with lunch which he brought himself. I can only compare these people to the gestapo!!!!! Would give minus stars if I could.Absolutely disgusting!!!!

I am rating the one in Middlesbrough at James Cook Hospital on Marton Road. The food only recently has been delicious & some of the fresh made soups and vegeterian dishes are so yummy I recommend to the public. Compliements to the Chef

Expensive food and drink, even for a light snack. They charge 50p to pay by card and another 40p to eat inside. I highly don't recommend and would advise going somewhere else.

I have just tried to eat the most vile jacket potato I have ever tasted! how on earth do you get a jacket potato wrong!! its in the bin and I feel sick!!!

Cafe Meo's Gateshead - bought coffee and sandwiches at 1.25 on Friday and not allowed to sit down and eat them. If we had known would have gone elsewhere. Evidently they close at 2pm! We will not go back to this cafe despite it being very near our office. Terrible service. No stars.
