Fantastic food and service. We had three courses for £19.95 a head; a good selection, and presention was A*. The staff were friendly and attentive, but not overly so. Thank you for a lovely evening. Dietary restrictions: Took into account my nut allergy.
The food was a bit of a mixture in quality. The beef cheek bourgogne was ideally cooked, and at the same time, a mashed potato was awful. The burger was dry. were cooked in old oil. The grilled tuna was awesome. Unfortunately, I can't recommend it.Food: 2/5
Visit 1: Amazing food, lovely venue and brilliant service! Had the 3 course set menu which was really good prices for the taste! Visit 2: Again, delicious food and lovely staff!
Good French restaurant. I had the filet beef, very good. Unfortunately it arrived a bit cold as the fries. I think they cooked too quickly after our starters and left it lying around before serving it, too bad! Garlic fougasse was very good, the service was perfect. Without the cold filet & fries I would have given 4 stars.
What a brilliant place. Friends and I went there for a Champagne Brunch to celebrate their 1st Wedding Anniversary and the staff could not do enough for them to help them celebrate. The atmosphere, sitting outside watching the world go by while eating a wonderful meal, was amazing and the culmination was when the happy couple were presented with a wonderfully presented dessert platter. I'll be taking others there soon. It was perfect and reasonably priced too. Michaela, our waitress was brilliant and all the staff were very friendly.
I was a drop in between lunch and dinner hours. Kitchen was happy to switch out my salmon lunch with fries for cooked veggies - So I could earn some free calories for their summer end of pavlova with berries. I ate every morsel of both lunch and dessert. Attentive, efficient service. Tried to pop in again since closer to dinner time but they were fully booked so make a reservation perhaps. I look forward to returning.
Very slow service. Restaurant seemed about ¾ full. Steak tartare came with no butter, egg or Worcestershire sauce. Broccoli of the main was a bit sad and tasteless. Crème brûlée dessert was pretty good.Food: 3/5
The eggs benedict was decent, and is generally what you’d expect from a chain restaurant. I won’t be coming back as the food was just average for what you’re paying, and there are many other brunch restaurants that give better value-for-money
First things first. Yes Brexit is horrible for restaurants, I get this. Yes delivery’s are hit and miss but to run out of mash potatoes is a strange one. Starters tasty. Mains not so good. Desserts tasty. Bradley the new guy was amazing Bradley I hope you enjoy the world of hospitality Other members of staff all great. Will be back when we do random night without booking.
Good restaurant. Coming from Geneva we have high expectations of French brassiere and this hit most of those expectations. It was great there is a gluten free menu. It peeved me that we had to order and pay for bread and butter, that’s free as standard in France and Switzerland. But generally the food was decent value and staff attentive.
