I came in to buy a complete uniform for a Ukrainian refugee, who hadn't yet sorted out his uniform voucher. There was a queue behind us and he was embarrassed. The young girl serving us was so helpful and swift that I could have cried. She couldn't have been more lovely, kind, discreet and welcoming.
Terrible experience, if I could get the uniform elsewhere I would! I paid to park in town and walked to the shop, I get during covid changing rooms were shut but you still aren’t able to try things on! How can you possibly buy a skirt if you can’t try it, yes you can hold it up but the waist could be too big and it will fall down! The woman in the shop couldn’t care less her attitude is shocking. One of the items is too small so I’ll need to go back again whenever I get chance, another trip to york, and who knows if it will fit next time. Utter Useless.
Bought three new jumpers, asking for size 38. When I was hanging up the washed jumpers I noticed that two were a size 36. Seems like a bit of a scam. I hope the Government's new position on school uniforms means that these overpriced logo toting v necks are a thing of the past.
Fantastic service - really patient with returns and considerate treatment when we weren’t sure what size to buy. A great company.
Good quality school wear, great service but expensive.
Closing time is no good what if a child has broken something and it needs changing that day there’s no time to sort it. 3pm closing is not helpful at all!!! As for price it’s a captive ordinance we choose to have the children we have to pay unfortunately, however I do believe shops like this cash in on that fact and take advantage.
Nice and helpful staff. Only downside is due to covid there is only a small space customer's can be in. Will make it very hard when more people go for informs for school. I'm glad I went early. I normally wait till near the time kids go back to school.
Submitted a large order for Monkbar Pharmacy's new uniform. Brilliant service - quick replies from the company with any queries, quick delivery of the uniform despite a relatively large order, and most importantly comfortable, affordable, and good quality clothing. We will definitely be submitting further orders in the future. Thankyou for kitting us out!
They’ve got you because you have to have branded school wear. The prices are far too high and the location is inconvenient with nowhere to park. I was told that the girl was “doing me a favour” today because I didn’t realise you couldn’t just go in anymore to buy what you need. So I ordered online whilst in the shop and waited outside for 45 minutes. I was chastised when I picked up my order and told I should be checking online. If I had the option I’d go anywhere but here. But there is no other option.
The first time ever that school shopping was done and dusted within 20 minutes and no arguments. Everything under one roof.... However, we are from the school that's hitting the Press at the moment and it doesn't feel right that this shop has a monopoly on all the clothing. Thanks to school policy, this year the uniform ran into hundreds of pounds just for one child and we still have to buy more. I'd be interested to know what profits the school are making from only having Keal as their stockists. Whilst the shop was good, there's a bad taste left in the mouth thinking you've paid more than you should...
