C&J's Animal Park

About

C&J's Animal Park - We are an open farm/petting zoo based in Portadown. We also have an outreach program allowing us to bring our animals to you. Last admission is strictly 5pm!

Story

C&J's Animal Park is an excellent place to take the kids (or the significant other!) to meet a wide variety of animals, from farm animals to reptiles, and cuddly bunnies to endangered exotics; you can see them all here! There's no need to book your visit, just arrive within our opening hours.

The park is very easy to get around, with customised gravel pathways and easy access to all areas, including our most popular attraction...the Reptile House! There are toilets (including a disabled toilet) and dedicated handwashing stations on site.

We have indoor & outdoor picnic areas, so don't forget to bring one! We also have tea, coffee and small snacks available to purchase at the entrance.

During your visit, you can get up close and personal with many of our animals. The question is...will you be brave enough??
Animal handling sessions go on throughout the day, every day! Everyone has the opportunity to touch or hold a variety of animals, including snakes, lizards, rabbits, guinea pigs, tortoises, tarantulas and more, depending on the day.
Our knowledgeable staff will be on hand to educate you on proper handling techniques and answer all of your fantastic questions about our range of animals and the work we do here!

Really enjoyed this today with my family. The staff were really friendly and brought out lots of animals for the kids to play with. A great little day out.

Lovely place for my 3yr old. I also thoroughly enjoyed it and staff/Gemma was very informative and really knew her stuff. Holding the tarantula was my favourite and feeding the chickens my child's favourite. If you have small children a visit is highly recommended.

Great wee place to take the kid's. One on one on the weekdays at the petting zoo and reptile house. Our wee boy absolutely loved all the different chickens 🐔 and lemurs. Good time promised. ❤️❤️

Brilliant love it here, loads of animals to see and pet, children love it and it's also for anyone who's afraid of different animals as it can help getting over your fears, my daughter petted a tarantula even knowing she's petrefied of spiders so that was a step in the right direction for her :) .

Took our nephews who enjoyed seeing the animals. I however found it difficult to look past how small the enclosures for the animals are.
