Used to be OK but in recent months it has rapidly gone downhill, mainly due to certain commitee members being abusive, my partner and her mother have both consistently been insulted and shouted at. It would probably be a nice place to be again if they were to get rid of these few nasty commitee members.
Lovely people, the staff were amazing very helpful, sorting out were we were having the party. Thank you Shaun for all your help last night, and waiting around for us to get everything sorted out and pack up , Looking forward to seeing you guys again, Thank you.
The hall in the Conservative club was a lovely size with everything we needed, tables, chairs use of the toilets etc. We hired the kitchen at an extra cost which was well equipped. Communication was good leading up to the event, my emails/questions were always replied to very promptly.
Have asked to join, hopefully to be approved! Lovely, friendly staff and members, made me feel very welcome. Looking forward to having a great social life with like minder people.

The club function hall is a great size for all sorts of functions, parties or conferences. With the bar in the hall and the attached kitchen it makes for a great venue for all events. We sat 90 for a buffet meal and dance.
Excellent quality service from MATT and great range of quality products sourced mainly from Devon. Great place, Great prices, my 1st choice always.
Excellent function hall for hire with large dance floor, stage and hall bar. A large kitchen leading into the hall is ideal for the catering of your function. EXCELLENT NEW RATES make this venue so attractive. Top rate skittle alley available for hire where many of the league matches are held. Skittles is a great theme for a party, corporate social or just for a fun evening with friend. Hire rates are fantastic!!! There's more! the club has a snooker room with a top quality snooker table which can be hired. There is also a small room which can be hired for meetings and small groups and again the rates are just great! Bar staff are friendly and the atmosphere of the bar is great. New members are always welcome
Cheap beer £2 a pint, Good service, and a skittles? tabel out the back.
