Excellent new greek restaurant! Byzantium restaurant is an entirely new concept run by an entirely new management that has just opened in the premises of the Byzantium cafe! If you wanna try tasty greek food and delicacies make sure you visit Byzantium! Note, there are only a couple of tables and everything is designed to be packed for a take away!
We had an amazing slow cooked beef with mashed potato and the best Greek salad ever! All the staff were very friendly and welcoming and I love the fact that is big long tables that you get to share with more people and potentially engage conversations. Fresh delicious food and looking forward to be back soon
5/5 recommended. My cousin and I stumbled in after trying a coffee shop around the corner that was too packed. We were looking for a place to work from our laptops for a bit and get a nice coffee. The man who greeted us was warm and kind and the coffee was delicious!! exceeding expectations. I accidentally knocked my cup over and spilled and the gentleman came over to help me clean up and offered to remake my cup for me! Naturally I felt slightly embarrassed, but he made us feel right at home by bringing two little treats after my snafu moment. I felt right at home! And an added bonus- the music is amazing! shazamed multiple songs. Excellent experience!
I came across this peaceful Greek while riding my bike .The staff was friendly and held the door open so I could bring my bike inside. I tried the vegetable tart, which was incredibly tasty and the pastry part of which melted in your mouth as proof that everything in the cafe is made from scratch. The coffee is outstanding, and the cafe's long wooden tables make you feel at home.
Lovely place and lovely people. I tried the quiche and it was very good. I also tried the spinach pie spanakopita and it was not as good as the pie. The pastry was hard to chew. The filling was pretty okey though. The salad seemed kind of loveless and a little bit “decorative”.
Amazing home-cooked delicious food! We had the slow cooked beef with tomato sauce and mashed potatoes and it was AMAZING! Good quality meat, delicious mash - what can I say - really brought back childhood memories! The staff is so friendly and nice feels like so nice and welcoming - would love to go back again! All the best team and thank you!
My visits here were beyond excellent, some of the best dining experience in my life. Using a new concept of all diners sharing the same dish, this place delivers rich flavours and quality meals with pride, and rightly so. The Greek salad is amazing, and the olive oil is authentic. The atmosphere is great, and the service impeccable. A must visit whenever I am in London.

The restaurant feels like you might be dining in the home of a lovely Greek family. Everyone was polite, helpful and informative. The food was delicious and authentic, and prices affordable. My friends and I had a great evening out.
Good coffee at a decent price. Pleasant server - I think the gentleman was the owner? A contemporary little cafe with outdoor seating on the pavement and sharing tables inside. Clean toilet and wash basin. A great little spot just minutes away from Bayswater and Queensway stations.
