Friendly guy served us, very clean, food of good quality. Would recommend their coffee and soup.
I was looking for a Coworking space in Croydon and I decided to try working from their Cafe first to see how I felt in the space. As soon as I walked in I asked if they were open and the guy in the bar literally answered “I hope so otherwise I wouldn’t be standing here”. He kept going and I was so confused I didn’t even know how to respond to that. I ordered the coffee and it was such a weird and uncomfortable interaction I couldn’t wait to leave. I have no idea if he was trying to be funny or if he was super frustrated and I was in the wrong place in the wrong time. Coffee was awful and customer service was beyond poor. The place looks nice but it isn’t worth the risk of someone making you feel so uncomfortable. I’ve worked in coffee shops for years and I’ve never seen such non-sense like that.
