Decided to give this place a visit after I heard it had been taken over by new management. So I took my in laws for breakfast. The place itself is nicely kept, decor is light and airy. They have an outdoor garden which would be perfect for the summer and a car park on site. They don't take bookings as it is appointments only but they were happy to accommodate our large group and we didn't have to wait around. Hospitality is great from this family run business. The food was ace food was cooked to perfection and full of flavour and above all it was Halal! This will definitely be my local spot for breakfast/Brunch. Plenty of choice on the menu and decent size portions.
We came during a quiet morning and we were seated quickly. I personally found the food quite average. My mum ordered the cheesy toast which didn’t look very appetising. We were disappointed that the drinks came after we had finished the food. I did like the interior, it was decorated nicely.
First impression as we walked in was not good - no eye contact or welcome by anyone difficult to tell who was staff as no aprons or uniform. Waited a few minutes and caught the attention of a lady behind the bar who then arranged a table. Although well decorated, it was cold inside. The service then just got even worse. After being seated, no menus and again no contact. After 10mins of sitting, we went to the bar area and asked for menus. We placed our orders after flagging someone down and waited 40-45mins for the food. The customer service just kept going bad to worse. No communication on the lengthy wait, no ordered drinks given in that wait, no staff member interaction within that wait. After the food arrived, there was still no cutlery on the table. We had to again go to the bar and interact to get some cutlery. The food was average at best. That's all to be said. However, it looks good on photos and this is probably what keeps this place going in this social media overhyping era. Finished the meal off by having to go to the bar once again to ask them for the bill and to tell them we'd finished - this is whilst what appeared to be the managing staff having a meeting at the table next to us. Awful and non existing customer service. No attention to us as customers. Not worth the price tag for average food and such dire customer service and interaction.
On arrival, there is car park right next to the building. It was a really cold day, but the warmth of the restaurant let's you get comfortable very quickly. We were seated straight away. Hardly had to wait. No booking was made prior. We ordered The Chilli Chicken Tempura, Chicken Sizzler, Mill Mixed chicken and beef Sizzler and the grilled chicken burger. The food was very nice. Burger was 4/5, the brioche bun, if toasted would've would've been better. The chicken in the burger delicious. Both sizzlers were amazing. Solid 4.5/5. Definitely would recommend this. The Chilli Chicken starter was nice too. The sauce on the sizzler and chilli chicken tempura tasted very similar. Service was really good. Staff very polite and helpful. Overall a really enjoyable meal.
First visit at this place. First impression nice interior design. We were taken to our seats and given the menu. upon ordering the Desi Nashta. My friend enjoyed her breakfast meal. My breakfast was ok, found the omelette bland, pakoras bland, the only dish i liked was the puri and chicken, chana curry! I had ordered Haloumi Cheese, as a separate side dish, was too thick and grilled was ok, but was too thick. mint tea didn’t taste like mint tea and to me personally was over priced. Not only they couldn’t take two separate card payments which put me and my friend in a awkward embarrassing position. I asked them you should of made that clear when sitting us down. so wasn’t happy with that. overall i wouldn’t go for seconds personally. customer service were always polite.
We visited this place for the first time yesterday. Very friendly and welcoming staff greeted us. Although we didn't book, we were seated immediately, given our menus and advised of the specials of the day, which definitely did not disappoint. Absolutely gutted we didn't manage to get more pictures because the ones i have taken don't do enough justice. The food was actually amazing, very flavourful, tasty and presented very well. We all enjoyed it so much. We were just too hungry and impatient to take time and capture pictures of everything we ordered. I definitely recommend the lamb chops, chicken tai pai and chicken tikka chips. The strawberry and raspberry mocktail was perfect and refreshing and more importantly, not too sweet. Special attention was given to create my son's Ferrero Rocher Milkshake which my son said was very very nice must have been good seeing as he didn't share any of it and finished every last drop!. Special thanks to Nizma and Hasina who served us and made the children feel welcome and attended to us throughout our visit. Definitely a child friendly place and a place i will visit again soon! Mumtaz behind the bar was lovely and very friendly. She took special care when handling my husbands lactose intolerant drink preps and took time to make conversation with us all. All in all a great experience and who doesn't love service with a smile. Looking forward to trying more items on the menu
We came here for dinner as a group of 9 including 3 kids and were well looked after! We tried a variety of their dishes including chicken lasagne, lam roast, cottage pie and all were cooked to perfection and presented beautifully. The decor is unique and very homely. Service was great and the kids were accommodated well. Would definitely recommend and can’t wait to come back for to try their breakfast!
Came here with my family today. We were seated immediately despite them being very busy. Place was very clean and had a 5* hygiene rating. Ordered a English breakfast and a Desi Breakfast, which came very quickly and was very tasty. Will be returning again. All the staff were friendly and helpful. They also had seating outside Plenty parking outside. Will be going back for more. Parking: Plenty parking on site
The breakfast was good, food was piping hot which is a must for me. Starters were lovely. Chops & samosa chaat were really good as well as the tempura chicken. Tea was lovely. Overall happy. However, service could be a little faster although we went at a busy time our food just came at different times as opposed to together as requested.
Lovely restaurant suitable for the family including children. Staff was very welcoming and friendly. Ordered chicken sizzler, which was really nice, good size portions and we didn't wait long for food either. Will definitely go back and recommend to friends and family. Kid-friendliness: High chairs available. The restaurant is spacious enough and the seating is arranged perfectly so you don't need to worry about it being too cramped/stuffy for children. Parking: Spacious and easy parking.
