Ridiculous doctors, you have to wait 2 weeks for an appointment? They definetly prioritise the elderly, mostly of whom live over the road. They pressure you into telling them why you need to see a doctor and when you tell them its private they get arsey with you. You wait half an hour to get through on the phone, and then get a rude receptionist who tells you there are no appointments and hang up! I cant comment on the doctors as I have never got that far! Why do we pay taxes to be treated like this?

Today I called for an emergency appointment as my 7 month old daughter had woken up with an awful rash over her face. I called the health center straight away, after waiting for a good 10 minuets for the phone to be answered. I was then put on hold again just to be told that they can't see her today and the nurse doesn't see babies. Thankfully the rash isn't anything serious and went down after Afro hours. I've been with this gp for years and it's getting worse and worse as it goes on. There is never any appointments. And the doctors are rude. My family will be moving to a different gp asap.

Pretty much impossible to get an appointment with a GP here. I went in person and was told the only way to get an appointment was to ring up on a specific day (which you can only know if you have been told by the receptionist) at 8:30. I missed the specific days given by the receptionist as weirdly enough I'm very busy at that time (school run)! And since then I've not been able to even get an answer when I phone. There were also problems during both my pregnancies. Several times I was sent there to get forms or appointments, sent away by receptionists, only to be told by the hospital or midwife that I definitely did need to go back to Buttercross. Managed to turn up 5 mins late once with my newborn baby. The midwife had decided she didn't want to use the appointments system and just had all her appointments written on a scrap of paper. Receptionist said she would let her know I was here, must have assumed the midwife was keeping appointments properly and decided to keep quiet. Cue me sitting in a boiling hot waiting room with my newborn baby for over an hour, receptionist well aware I was there (and that the midwife didn't know) and midwife coming in and out the whole time to call other mums in. I realise this last one is just lots of unlucky conditions coming together (not helped by my lateness and staff too busy to notice the details) but ugh, I am so done with this place. It's not the receptionists' fault but it does seem like the system is failing, maybe too many patients? After so many bad experiences I've decided to help them out and leave. Good luck.

Got an appointment within three days of calling, professional and kind service provided. Far better than my old doctors in Titchfield which required 3 months notice

Had to take Son to A&E I tried booking an appointment for my son to see a doctor or nurse as he had a spot on his back which had become inflamed and bleeding. I was told on Wednesday morning the earliest appointment would be Monday, so 5 days for a child to see a doctor. If I had waited that long he could of gone into septic shock. Special praise has to be given to Glastonbury hostpital who seen him within 10 minutes and put him on antibiotics, they have booked him in to see him again tomorrow. Visited in August 2017
