So, about 12 months ago we decided to start going out for breakfast the 1st weekend of every month (this is now turning into most weekends) as a little treat. We've tried lots of places of all shapes and sizes, and I have to say that the breakfast we had this morning, in the sun drenched window of Butlers was absolutely faultless, probably the best yet! I Visited Butlers earlier this week, and ordered a coffee. I have to say the coffee was lovely, but a few other things spoilt the experience. There was a constant drilling noise underneath the floor(I presume in a lower room of the shop). This was very noisy and off putting. When the shop was quiet unfortunately I could hear unpleasant comment towards younger staff, from what seemed to be a manager in a bad mood. When all in all, younger staff seemed very pleasant and offered a good service. The range of food and drinks on the menu was nice and the cakes looked very apatising but I couldn't of stayed to find out. This was my first visit to butlers but may be one of my last.

A cafe a would definitely recommend. Such a warm welcoming place with delightful vegan and vegetarian options (particularly good was the vegan chocolate cake)

Hot drink served cold. Long wait for seemingly no reason without an apology. Unfriendly staff and a severe lack of respect throughout. Could be a great little shop but is not looked after, and staff seem bored like they dont want to be there.
