We had a very nice experience at Buswells. The staff is simply amazing, the bar is bustling with couples, families, and friends. We enjoyed the live music over St. Patrick’s day weekend. Food was good, although we never made it to breakfast, but heard it was good.  Great location and easy to find. Would definitely stay here again and look forward to my next visit.

Was wife, myself & wife's sister. There was a separate room for the sister to sleep. That was nice & unexpected. On the downside, it seemed the shower had no COLD water. So the HOT only shower was like lava ( your water heater is VERY efficient ). We could not actually stand under the water. It was way too hot. It turns out, the knob that adds COLD to the mix was just very tight. It seemed to move to a point & stop ( and leave you with the lava shower ). But if you really force it, it turns further, and the shower become NICE. That was the only complaint. If not for that, I'd have given a 5 star rating. We intend to travel to Ireland again, and will be looking to stay here again.

I thoroughly enjoyed my trip to Dublin, and could have stayed another week.  It was a joy to stay in an uncomplicated, comfortable hotel that coordinated perfectly with the atmosphere associated with visiting Dublin.  Buswells is perfectly located near everything that I wanted to see and do.  Plus on the days where I was determined to recover from a busy tourist schedule,  Buswells was comfortable and accommodating.  This isn't part of a hotel chain, and I wasn't looking for the buffet breakfast, coffee pots, reward points, and 200 TV channels.   I was looking for exactly what Buswells is.  A classic, comfortable hotel with polite local staff, which blends perfectly with a visit to a great city.  Thank You, and I will visit again someday.

The excellent service we received while staying at Buswells is what made our short stay with you exceptional.  Everyone from the night clerk who checked our bags after arriving in the wee hours of the morning, to the waitstaff in the restaurant and bar took really good care of us.  Breakfast was great, and the bar/lounge area was a nice spot to spend a quiet evening.  Leonore at the front desk is an absolute angel for letting us check in early, she really saved the day as we hadn't slept on our overnight flight as hoped and were completely exhausted.  Irish hospitality at it's best!  I will definitely stay with you again next time.

We had a six night stay at Buswell’s and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Everyone on staff was very nice and friendly and we got to know several of them through our daily interactions. The hotel is in fine shape and exudes warmth and elegance. It is quietly situated but near all that Dublin has to offer. We will be back!
