Beautiful amazing and relaxing, This well looked after place is a good day out and a bunch of fun on a nice sunny day, with many shops round the Corner and storefronts the cathedral is a must see if you are in the area, beautiful on the inside and outside, have been there twice now and loved it every time. Great for the kids and adults. We always sit around the cafe area and watch the birds fly around while eating our ice creams. Such a amazing place.

Lovely play park with lots of activities for children. Didn’t go into the cafe but it looked very nice too - and busy. The aviary is also worth a look. Very entertaining for the little ones.

The Abby gardens and ruins are beautiful, I used to love coming here to draw and paint, or meet up with friends, I’d stand in the cross of the path and breath in the sweet scents of the flowers in bloom, the rose garden was also a favourite of mine too, whenever I visit Bury St Edmunds I always go back to the gardens...... you’d be hard pressed to find many places as beautiful or well looked after in the UK. Maybe I’m biased lol

Beautiful grounds. Great for a stroll, stop for a coffee, ice-cream or take your own picknick.

Very well kept gardens and fascinating ruins to explore, usefully signposted and labelled to give you a sense of this ancient abbey
