Bury Market

Bury market is just beautiful... The Market street is very crowded but it's just awesome to walk through and buy things, you can find everything there and the prices are really good. Loved the little gardening shop, so beautiful plants and flowers. There is some nice little stands to buy food as well, just to find a free bench might be difficult, the restaurants have some spots though so half so wild... I think it was voted with right the best Great British market :

One of the best markets in the UK probably the best when it comes to fresh produce. We live about 30 miles away and travel here once a month to fill up the freezer with really nice stuff. Tell you now, with the cost of living spiralling how it is, going to places like this will be very important. Better quality and cheaper than most supermarket prices!

There are hundreds of shops and stalls located in the old market and modernized shopping malls. You can easily find the things you want to buy and the restaurant for your meal. Parking fee is reasonable. in comparison with downtown.

Bury market is fabulous! We always get what we need and never disappointed. The stalls are varied and you can get everything in one place. The meat and fish market sell top quality food. We travel to Bury market every year to buy our turkey for Christmas. The stall holders are always friendly and go out of their way to help with your purchase. Wish every town had a market like Bury Market. Love it.

Wonderful day out, visiting V & M butchers is a must for the chilli and pork sausage are must! Veg and fruit stalls and so many pie shops. Give it ago and enjoy none net shopping!

Have not been for a long time so enjoyed a Saturday morning going to both inside and outside the market. Got the biggest cauliflower I have ever seen. Fruit, veg, meats, cheese, cards, I could go on, it has made me want to go more regular than the supermarket, just loved it.

Convenient parking, easy to find and very well priced. Excellent choice of stalls with clear pricing. Stall holders all very polite and friendly plus nice clean toilets and a delicious lunch at the market fryer. 5 stars all round!

Absolutely brilliant. Worth travelling to bury just to visit the market but also check out the east lancs railway and other surrounding shops. What all markets should be like. Hopefully long may it continue. This has to be one of the best markets in the entire country. You will not be disappointed. How all markets should be.

Best market I have been to, food stalls great!! All stalls in fact are great and plenty of places to eat at really reasonable cost. Lucky people who live local, but well worth a day out if you need to travel.

I dint normally visit Bury Market, but today I stopped at this amazing place that makes the best chicken kebabs and the mist delicious Falafels. It is the best authentic Middle Eastern Syrian food and you must go there if you ever are at Bury Market. I had Falafel Sandwich with proper appetisers, sauce and the best chicken shawema ever. You will be greeted as an old friend and will feel very much welcomed and well looked after. Typical Syrian hospitality. Thank you for having me today.
