David was extremely helpful and knowledgeable from my first telephone contact. Diagnosed and replaced the timing chain, tensioners and Vanos unit etc on my JCW Mini Countryman. Also fitted a new battery due to issues with low voltage and carried out a full service whilst keeping me fully updated along the way. My car is now running beautifully. Thank you very much! :
My audi ttrs went in for several things needed doing But had trust in them to do the work for me . Also put it through an mot took a little longer than expected but you can't rush good work. Would highly recommend dave was the gentleman I delbt with very nice chap and been back ever since

My BMW went in for a suspected timing chain issue, however, the noise issue was methodically investigated not as serious as I suspected and the fault was discovered and rectified. I was appraised of their findings and progress of the repair regularly over the phone, and my car was returned completely repaired. I have total confidence in this business and cannot speak highly enough of the technicians there. Thank you for your excellent work!
Rang this place twice about having my zf gearbox oil replacing as my 435d hit 70k the first time my wife called and got a very rude lady saying well what do you want that doing for. Fast forward 3 months I thought I'd try again so called up Thursday 5th Oct promised a phone call back the next day and guess what? Looks like this place can afford to throw away new customers which is a shame as I thought I had found a new local.very poor and rude service from the word go so can only imagine what could have happened to my car I think I've dodged a bullet here I will find somewhere that is interested in my custom.
The place I always goto for car repairs big or small. Their helpfulness and knowledge is heaven sent. I keep joking the bill is too low for the work they do Compared to other garages, and they keep joking to note on my account to charge me more Whatever your car. They have the know how.
I spoke to steve, he looked after me, i explained what i required, he gave me a compatible list of parts tgat would suit, made the whole process very easy... Very happy with Burton's, any ford spare, s go here..
On my last review of The Burton Motor Workshop, I pointed out that I believe in fair reviews regardless of good or bad. My last review of this place was fair but not overly positive. I am a believer in problems are an opportunity to shine and The Burton Motor Workshop have done this in abundance. I returned my car after the last visit for a booked appointment for a more in depth diagnostic as they had not found the problem on my last visit. Left the car as normal, saying did hope this time the problem was found. I received a call from Carl around lunchtime to say they had found the problem and someone had overheard my concerns on the last visit and they agreed. As a result today visit would not be charged and they would do a complementary temp repair until they could obtain the parts. I was away on holiday, they collected the car from my home, did the repair and returned the car home for me, I was kept updated of progress and given confirmation of the car location. The price was not cheap but fair, if you want experts to deal with your car then its not going to be cheap. I can not recommend Carl and his team enough, there was a problem but there response was second to non and I will not be going anywhere else moving forward. Should also mention the staff in reception who take the brunt of things day in day, always been great with me, even when I was not over happy. Well done Burton Motor Workshop
I took my car here and yes it’s an old car and not nice to work on but they promised me they could get it all done in two weeks. I called several times for a rough price to prepare myself for and told they where waiting for prices took me 2 minutes on google. After these two weeks they rang me to say they haven’t touched the car and wouldn’t get it done for 4 months and it would cost me £1,500 for the privilege quoted £270 elsewhere. Clearly they just wanted rid of the car and didn’t want to work on it. I know my circumstance is very different but I did expect some sort of apology when collecting the car, but was met with a very blunt and rude receptionist. If you’re taking in a modern car I do recommend it as the actual mechanics I talked to where very polite and knew their stuff. My experience has just left me feeling very disappointed and I will not be going back
Myself and my husband regularly use this workshop and we highly recommend it. Fabulous communication, reliable and friendly staff. Our cars are in great condition thanks to Gez, Carl and team.
