Just returned from our stay, lovely Hotel with swimming pool. Fantastic friendly staff, Room had tea and coffee facilities and bottles of water. Perfect for trips out and about. And finally the most amazing full English breakfast.Rooms: 5/5
A Grand old building set in one of the most beautiful settings. This B& B is a family run business Karen the owner is an outstanding host. The Eversley has an outdoor swimming pool, which was warm enough to swim in May; with plenty of seating around the pool. It's only a short walk to the town centre of Ventnor and is located next to the Botanical Gardens; with beautiful walks overlooking the sea. I reccomend the Eversley highly, it's a little dated but very charming.
Fantastic place to stay!!! Super friendly staff!! I couldn't have picked a better place to stay other guests felt the same. Super Super dog friendly !!!.the owner even watched my dog so I could have a swim in there pool. Definitely recommend to anyone with dogs.....
We liked it so much that we extended our stay with two days. Hosts, breakfast, garden, pool - everything was great. Highly recommended!!! Would love to come back.
Karen & Matt give you a very warm welcome and if anything your dog will get an even warmer welcome. The hotel is big, with not too many rooms. It has a surprising amount of facilities for a B&B hotel. There is a lovely outdoor heated swimming pool, kept nice and clean and not mention the stunning landscaped gardens. My en-suite room was huge with good clean comfortable bed. It was kept clean & well stocked with tea bags coffee etc. It also had a huge TV. Breakfast were good and Karen & Matt were extremely efficient. I highly recommend this place & will visit again. If my dog Filou could write she would give it ten barks .
We have just got back from a wonderful stay at The Eversley. From the moment I sent the hotel an email enquiry regarding booking to when we checked out, the team were so friendly and couldn't do enough to help. They allowed us to bring our dog with us and honestly, they were more excited to greet him than us, but that's exactly how it should be. The hotel itself is large, clean and has bags of character. We stayed in one of the larger Premier rooms and it was huge with its own lounge area, large bedroom, large comfy bed and a large bathroom with shower and separate bath. Breakfast was delicious, me being vegan and my partner not able to eat gluten makes us a nightmare for kitchens but I was able to have a veggie breakfast with toast and my partner able to have yoghurt, fruit and gluten free toast with as much tea and fresh coffee as we could handle. Not to mention the staff checking if we always had enough toast and our dog getting a cooked sausage each morning we were well set up for a day of exploring the island. The hotel also has a really nice, well looked after garden with tables, chairs and sun loungers. The garden gets plenty of sun too. The best part of the garden though is the pool. My partner enjoyed swimming whenever she got the chance. As for location, it's in a really good part of Ventnor, you can easily explore all the best parts of Ventnor on foot within minutes with the beach about a 5 minute walk, the lovely Ventnor gardens and cliff top walks also a few minutes away, the Botanical gardens a 10 minute walk and the wonderful spyglass Inn dog friendly family friendly pub / restaurant also 5 minutes away. Parking not a problem at the Eversley either as the onsite car park is plenty large enough. I wanted to mention this as parking can be a deal breaker when looking for somewhere to stay. I honestly couldn't believe a place as nice as this had the last minute availability it had when we were looking and we'll definitely be coming back in the future if we can.

Beautiful Victorian villa, excellentg presented, with spacious rooms, amazing breakfast, swimming pool, bar and next to a beautiful park. Short walk to the beach, cliff top and town.
The hotel has spacious clean rooms. The owners and staff are very friendly. There is an outside pool but unfortunately during our holiday in August it rained almost every day so we didn't get to use the pool which was the main reason we chose this hotel. Breakfasts were delicious but evening meals are only available as 'bar food' as they don't have a restaurant. I had a curry which was tasty and they also offered bolognese or pizza. The hotel is old and has lots of character but no frills. It was comfortable and welcoming.
Great place, fantastic views, close to the sea, free use of pool on location, staff are helpful and friendly, very clean and tidy, breakfast is amazing especially the haddock.
