I had a beautiful stay here! My room was clean, well equipped and as I'm a wheelchair user also accessible. The whole building was absolutely beautiful. Old-fashioned yet still modern where it mattered. I hope I get to stay here again someday! Only con: the lift was SMALL, maybe adding a max measurement for wheelchairs during the booking process would be good, but then again I booked 3rd party so maybe that's on the actual website
I must say, I was totally shocked and surprised how amazing this hotel is. As soon as we walked in we were gobsmacked. All of the staff are amazing but Olecksi and Matt, the two barmen really made our stay along with Craig. The room was spotless and the Queen sized bed I almost got lost in! We will definitely be going back and I can't rate this hotel high enough. The food was also amazing. Well done all staff.
Stayed 4 nights with my husband and German Shepherd. What a fantastic hotel. The staff from the managers to the lady who cleaned our rooms daily were brilliant. Food was very good. Will be staying again probably for a long w/e in December. From Carol and Steve Humphreys, and Spirit the dog
Beautiful old hotel right at the beach front in Folkestone. I'm sure it's great for representative occasions, gatherings etc.nWe only stayed for a night and the standard twin room was spacious and very nice and clean. Unfortunately the shower didn't work properly but it was too late at night and we were too tired to have staff come take a look. The food snacks and drinks we ordered to our room were so-so; some very pricey starters that were quite bland and didn't taste super fresh. We expected a bit more but overall a nice enough short stay.
Fantastic location right next to the Leas for walking and a few minutes down to the beach. We stayed 4 nights.The room was large and comfortable and reception staff helpful. The only downside was that breakfast was an exercise in chaos; not enough staff and pretty moderate food for a 4 star hotel. Overall, a great place to stay though.
