Great service from Burgins taxis. They arrived in the early hours to take my family to the airport, the driver arrived on time and even called me 15 minutes prior to my pickup. Burgins also did our return journey home from the airport all went very smoothly. I would definitely use Burgins Taxis again and will recommend them to my friends and family. Both drivers were very pleasant and professional.
Used Burgins for a recent trip to and from Luton Airport, really impressed with both drivers! Contacted us on both occasions prior to pick up and I thought they were very reasonably priced! Would definitely use again and would also recommend!
Absolutely disgraceful taxi company. I booked a taxi - in advance - with this firm on Monday morning 15th Aug; at approximately 9:20, to take us to our destination on Saturday 20th August, for a family get-together. I booked the taxi to arrive at 12:30pm and I made sure the person who took the call was aware it was pm and not am!, to arrive on Saturday, 20th August. Call it a sixth sense, but I had a horrible feeling that the taxi wasn't going to arrive, and when it got to 12:40pm yesterday afternoon, I decided to ring them to see what on earth they were playing at. The phone just rang, and rang, and rang and - just for good measure - rang again. In the end I hung up, and took our business elsewhere. We were late, as we needed to get to Bletchley. It caused both myself and my elderly mother a great deal of stress and anxiety, on what was meant to be a joyous occasion. I will NEVER use this taxi firm again. I have disposed of the firm's business card in the recycling bin. UPDATE 23.09.22: I emailed an official complaint to Burgins on 22 Aug 2022, and it was ignored; no acknowledgement; no apology; nothing at all. I forwarded the complaint again on 14 Sep 2022 and still no response. I AM UTTERLY DISGUSTED WITH THIS DISGRACEFUL; RUDE AND IGNORANT TAXI FIRM.
Everyday is busy in leighton buzzard and the guys are always good at organised in getting me taxi. I travel from Birmingham to leighton everyday! Service is great and they always get me on time for my train! Considering the main Stan bridge road is very busy. I have few favourites who pick me up and know me and make me feel comfortable in my busy journey
Really impressed with this company for airport pickup dropoffs. Would happily use again. Just flew in and out of Luton and was taken to MK suburbs each time. Well done.
If I could give zero stars, I would. Terrible service, wrong postcode so we got stuck in traffic and were late, dreadful communication throughout and they took our money for both journeys and then cancelled return journey five minutes later, leaving us to get multiple trains to get home. Money was refunded 24 hours later albeit minus ten pounds due to a dispute over original verbal quote - they decided to add an extra £20 on the day for some unknown reason? We will not be using them again.
We booked a taxi at lunchtime to collect us after a meal at 10.15pm. We rang them at 10.20pm to ask where it was, they said he was held up in Leighton Buzzard and would be 8 minutes, we rang again after 10 minutes... this little charade continued 2 minutes, 5 minutes etc for 40 minutes until he turned up at 10.55pm. Say he was in Dunstable, which we believe given the time it took to get to us. The most annoying thing is, if they had told us the truth, we would have stayed on and had another drink. They Lie to their customers to keep them hanging on. They are a disgrace. don't book with them!!

Avoid unless desperate ! Driver turned up 30 minutes late for a prearranged pick up and then wanted to charge an extra £5 above the prearranged fare
