Wow just wow, what can I say. This has to be one of the top 2 burger joints in Bristol. Me and my friends were treated to an absolute beast of a burger. It tasted fantastic, the price was great and the atmosphere was perfect. The staff on duty were helpful and it made the whole experience really nice. I will be back here pretty soon as I want to try the rest of the menu.
Delicious Burger, generous portions. The fries were equally good. I love the spicy ones. Not so much the fries with cheese. They also do mini burgers in the kids menu. Definitely recommend.
Lovely service and good burgers. Meat was juicy but slightly chewy. Tasted good though. Topped chilli cheese fries were delicious. However, this place is super expensive. The price is £12-15 for the burger alone then you pay extra for fries. Our topped fries were circa £9 each!! It was tasty. Just not enough to return at the price paid. Just glad we tried it before diving into paying £40 each for the unlimited burger, side and drink offer which is far far far too expensive for a 1.5 sitting and slider sized burgers.
Stopped here for lunch today and was not disappointed. For £10 there were a number of different burgers to choose from which all came with fries. I went for the Sheriff burger in the end and what a burger it was. Full of flavours and juices, thoroughly enjoyable. The fries were also very good and a sized decent portion. I sat outside as it was lovely and sunny and there were plenty of seats. Staff here were really friendly and the service was quick. I'll be coming back here for sure
Came here recently for a work Christmas meal. Atmosphere was great, staff were friendly and the food was delicious. The fries were too good. We weren’t a huge group but they had to split us into two tables which wasn’t the best but the restaurant is quite small so not the end of the world!
Went on a Tuesday night. Quick service due to being on my own and not busy. Had the beefy boy burger and fries with a pint of local Bristol IPA. Don't feel the price I paid £25.50 worked out value for money however. The bun was slightly over-toasted and the burger being described as being pink was cooked throughout unfortunately. Yes I understand the business has to make money and have their overheads for location. I definitely won't be rushing back anytime soon unfortunately.
We visited Burger Theory on a Saturday night. We were 7 people. The staff were extremely kind and served our table with a smile. I can also say we had a nice table with a long sofa. All the food arrived with no mistakes and it tasted amazing. The hairy beast burger was definitely delicious. It’s definitely pricy, so the following things for the price you pay definitely need improvement; - The wings, for almost £7 were the smallest 6 wings I ever had in a restaurant of this type. If they didn’t taste nice I would be sending them back but honestly either put more for the customer, or ask your provider for larger sized wings. -Dirty Fires, A lot of restaurants offer these option now. I definitely had dirtier and nicer fries elsewhere. And again, for £7.50 the fries should have been miles better see photo attached. -Toilets, honestly the men’s toilets are ready to simply fall on the ground floor. The tiles are completely broken, making you feel the floor is going to drop the second you stand on them. The “walls” were completely destroyed and had a lot of writings on them with markers. This place is a proper restaurant downstairs, I find it a joke that they are okay with the state their restrooms are!
Lovely evening out, dining at Burger Theory. First time visiting and not disappointed. The food was delicious, service was speedy considering it was a busy Saturday night and all staff are friendly here. The burgers are a little pricier than expected however for a quirky/intimate little place to eat with your best buds, it's worth the money. Will defo like to visit again.
Very lovely place! There's quit a good selection on the menu with good desert options. If you may know, you'll have to scan a QR code for payment.Food: 4/5
OK. Burger was nice - good flavour combos, but the patty was dry. Fries were good. Beer was nice but expensive. Service was very slow - our order was delayed and included with orders placed twenty minutes after ours, which was annoying. It was very cold inside as delivery pickups were made and the staff didn't close the door.Food: 4/5
