We went for breakfast this morning before our sightseeing trip. It has a nice restaurant, very clean. Great service.
One of those experiences when you think there was a half a star option to review a place. Visited at a quiet hour and had to wait for about 45 minutes just to get a burger . I noticed there were on two more customers in the shop and one of them was waiting for an hour to get a whopper as per him. A very untidy dining hall, rubbish almost on each table and one of the table topped the rubbish pile. I'll post a photo of the dining area's condition. I may not revisit them for a very long time.
Small portions, large price - I got 2 handfuls of chips, a small bacon/cheeseburger and a LARGE drink for £6 - what a ripoff - I'd rather go to McDonalds and get 5x the portions for that price. The place was filthy, the only thing I liked was the drink. Wouldn't go here again
Visited today, the restaurant was having a quiet period only around a dozen people seated and being served. Till staff seemed happy with smiles on faces. The restaurant was well cleaned and nice and bright. Only issue was the chicken strips were a bit on the tuff side but this was no problem staff quickly cooked some nice hot fresh ones. My burger was good nice and fresh
Very busy, but that is as you'd expect from a fast food chain. The staff seemed a little inattentive at times, especially with large queues waiting to be served. Unlike McDonalds, there are no self-service screens, so you should prepare in advance for longer waiting times. Other than that, the food was prepared quickly, and both looked and tasted lovely.
Very friendly staff! Extremely fast service. About a 10 second wait time for a double bacon cheeseburger XL. I was super impressed at the quality of customer service I received. Very friendly guy at the till. My only complaint would be that half of the seating area including upstairs was blocked off which meant I had to sit next to a stranger. Aside from the seating, 10/10
Food is always nice, but you pay a bit more for it. The biggest disappointment is the internal cleanliness - even at quieter times the tables aren't wiped down properly, the floor is grimy - I could go on. Staff attitude is also somewhat lacklustre - better staff and a bit of cleaning would make this 4 stars!
I don't think the customer areas of the burger king have received any redecorating for a very long time as it's exactly the same as it was in the very early 2000s with damaged furniture showing its age. Men's toilets in particular bad state. Service was very slow and I think the girl who was serving was new and should have had someone helping her, as she was very slow and people kept coming back due to their order being wrong. She also kept on taking orders and lining up trays which eventually got food on them. This burger king offers deliveroo which from what I could see takes priority over customers who have already ordered. So my tip if you want your food any time soon it would be quicker to be the other side of the city and order it on deliveroo to have it delivered by a sweaty bike who ignores the highway code.
Our usual go to meetup and generally the food is bang on. This time not so much. The server was lovely and the service was quick. I ordered the Whopper and a side of fries which were dry. I suspect they were old and re fried. The burger bun was stale. Overall, the company was golden but the food was meh. xx
Normally the food is good but our most recent visit was disappointing. The fizzy drinks were flat so we thought the gas was probably going in the machine and the food dispite being really busy was only just warm it was too busy to line up and complain so we just eat quicker. Shame there was no vouchers available until next year.
