I had the same experience as David Martin below. They are using the excuse of people not booking appointments during Covid as an excuse to remove NHS patients from their list. I have been registered with them for over 15 years and so totally disgusting behaviour. No communication from them to inform me that they were deregistering me.
They are so rough. That Spanish dentist is the worst out of the lot. So heavy handed and rough. She injected me with a numbing agent and didn't even wait for it to kick, she just waded in with absolutely not a care in the world. I went to another dentist as I was in so much pain afterwards and they said she's made a right mess of it. She's filled my tooth but done it too high so it's pressing against my root causing so much pain. I thought I was just bruised at first because she was so heavy handed, but turns out she's just careless. Please avoid and go somewhere else, and if you do have to go there, for the love of Christ, ask for somebody else other than the Spanish lady. You'll be in for a world of pain otherwise.
I've been coming here for years. Lovely staff, prompt service. I chipped a tooth and I phoned Monday at 5:10pm, got an appointment Thursday at 12:40. Tooth repaired by 12:50. 5 stars for Eva and the other lovely people that work there.
Terrible service. update. currently a new customer at My dentist. £45. bupa £75. bupa told me £2000 for dentures MY dentist same service but better services. £750. tut tut bupa. rip off f….. The manager off the barton branch is rude and i’d stay a million miles away from the place. the dentist triphi i’d question if she is qualified. she snapped my teeth in july, and only had fixed in nov. i wouldn’t waste ur hard worked money on this place. second class service at high prices.
Happy to have had another emergency consultation due to another filling dropping out. Advised to have a crown as the tooth is compromised so given a temporary filling today and an appointment arranged for the crown . Great service again . Thanks
Since becoming Bupa will only take on patients privately and try to get rid of NHS patients. Tried to discharge me through not going during Covid. Having my appointments canceled before that and claiming I received plenty of notice which I did not receive any communication. Said they sent emails which probably went to spam. Tried to book emergency appointment it's going to takeover two weeks. If I could afford private it would get done sooner.
What a pleasant surprise to visit a practise that genuinely care , from the extremely professional practise manager to the very caring female dentist. My first visit , everything explained in such detail for my future treatment nothing rushed . Surgery was very clean and all surrounding areas fully compliant to Covid 19. If there is such a thing as a nice experience going to a dentist then I give it 5 stars.
I have recently had some rather life changing work done at which I would say is a very strong candidate for the best dental practice in Cheshire. I have been with the same said practice for many many years now and have had the pleasure of meeting some very professional and highly experienced members of staff from the always helpful reception team through to my current dental sergeonCharlotte the great one right through to the sergary assistant. It's been just two days since I had my teeth removed and replaced with the most exwisit set of nashers I have ever set eyes on. Ones out look on life has some what changed from feeling nervous talking to people to having a big smile and starting to enjoy life again. So it's a big thumbs up everyone. On two occasions I’ve had appointments cancelled due to either staff leaving or annual leave and the first I have been notified of it is when I receive a letter saying its time to book an appointment. When I call to enquire what’s going on, the rescheduled appointments end up being 3-4 months further on than the original which isn’t acceptable when it wasn’t me who cancelled it in the first place! They clearly have too many patients on their books for the number of dentists available. Looking for a new dentist.
Left waiting for half an hour again ! I was the only person sat in the waiting room. Initially told there would be a 10-15 minute wait - 20 minutes later I asked how long do I have to wait until the hygienist is ready for me - the answer was another 10 minutes ! No apology in-fact quite rude to me. I have left the practice very upset as my elderly parents needed my help but unfortunately due to my 45 minute waste of time this was not possible.
