What can I say about this wonderful place! 100/100 absolutely no faults at all! "Ange the boss" is like visiting your mum. We had a right laugh! My mum said it was the best Sunday roast she's ever had out!!! I would definitely pay double on how amazing it was. Thank you very much The bull Inn!!
Lovely, quaint little country pub in Gristhorpe, near Filey. We were on a Haven holiday in October, out of season, so it was fairly quiet when we went Thurs evening and there were only about 2 other tables occupied. The staff were so lovely and attentive and provided a really great service! The food was lovely, with generous portion sizes. I highly recommend this place and would visit again!
Extremely good value for money! Welcoming staff! Was staying at a local caravan park and well worth the walk to it.
Always eaten here ,we have a caravan at primrose valley, and always recommend bull in to our friends and guests, not no more ,the main course was nice ,but we had garlic mushrooms as a starter ,which we have always enjoyed before,this time they were shocking and tasted of vinegar and not of garlic ,we told the waiter ,we were not happy with the starter and we couldn't eat it ,when I asked for the bill I was charged for the 2 starters,I asked 2 speak to the manager, who came out of the kitchen ,she was rude and said I had to pay ,NEVER AGAIN BULL IN
The staff were amazing, Dog friendly and plenty of space. The food tasted fantastic and homemade. Would definitely recommend visiting here
Cosy country pub. Took the dog too. Home cooked, delicious and huge portions. Managed to book a table last minute on Sunday evening and we were all so pleased we did. Four clean plates and full bellies! Really happy with the choice of vegetarian food, i had the vegetarian lasagna which was made fresh with quorn mince. Also came with thick cut home cooked chips like what your nan makes in the chip pan! Lol Would definitely recommend and will return when we go back to the coast!
Disappointed. Was asked for drinks before we’d even sat down. They wouldn’t serve us tap water, this is illegal for a licensed venue under uk legislation. Excuse of cloudy water doesn’t hold as we’ve been drinking Filey water for years. No drinks menu or price list. The 3 J20’s ordered were the wrong flavour and arrived in glasses, they could have been anything. Food average and overpriced. Hunters chicken saturated in BBQ sauce and the salad was old and partially rotten.
We went to the Bull Inn for lunch last Sunday, the staff were friendly and welcoming even though our party had 5 dogs It was a carvery and the quality of the food was amazing, the portions were very generous and the service was excellent. We were so impressed we booked to go again on Thursday and can confirm the bar menu/food was equally as good with very generous portions. If you're in the area I would definitely recommend booking!!!
This is a great place for traditional pub food and drinks. Reasonably priced good quality food and drinks served in a warm and friendly atmosphere. The Landlady & her staff are very welcoming and can’t do too much to serve you. I strongly recommend booking a table in advance to dine here as it’s very popular.
Wonderful atmospheric little pub, food was really tasty and they had a great vegetarian range
