Delicious food, everything was cooked and presented perfectly. Great portion sizes. Perfect wine to match the food. And the staff were delightful, the ambience charming and the decor lovely. My parents and I really enjoyed it and will definitely be going back
I had high hopes for this place after reading many reviews and they surpassed my expectation. Absolutely scrumptious and juicy steaks! We had Chateaubriand and it was perfect medium rare as we ordered. I personally prefer this place to Hawksmoor. We also loved their empanadas and calamari! Creamed spinach can be improved.
It was my first time at Buenos Aires and it was absolutely outstanding!! We had couple of starters and main stake platter to share the food was incredible the lovely Malbec, just out of this world!!! We were served by Mr. David, Mr. Ivan and Mr. Michelle, they were all so polite and attending!!! I would definitely return
Went there for first time yesterday. Great food and awesome service! The restaurant was very busy with the Bank Holiday crowd, but shout out to Juan the manager and to Giada who served us for providing impeccable service.
We chose this lovely restaurant on Hubby’s birthday because we’d had a fantastic Argentinian steak at a friend’s place. Yes, I’d recommend this restaurant but be sure to let your server know how you want your steak prepared even if they don’t ask!!
This was our first time trying out Buenos Aires, near the Chiswick High Road. We booked via Opentable and indicated it was our anniversary. We were greeted warmly on arrival and they acknowledged our special day. We were offered a table in the nicely decorated room which was cosy and had a good atmosphere. We sat and were immediately served some sparkling wine which ended up complimentary! For starters we had the chorizo sausage criollio and the aubergine with goat’s cheese. Both were delicious but the highlight was the gambas in garlic sauce - decent sized king prawns in a great sauce. For mains we shared the churrasco de lomo - 340g fillet steak that had been marinated for up to 48 hours. This went perfectly with the creamed spinach and a glass of the house Malbec.
Impressive professional service from the manager, Juan! Our server was Giada who is also amazing. It is very rare these days that the staff are polite and apologetic when the restaurant was very busy and food, of course, took a bit longer to be served at the table. Both Juan and Giada looked after us by asking what we needed and apology for the delay. My steak was cooked perfectly to my requirements, pink, juicy, delicious, tender. We had starters prawns which was fresh and yummy and chorizo was a bit cold. When we told Juan, he apologised and served us another dish which was hot. Desserts : chocolate cake and passion fruit were perfect!
Steak was perfect. Prawn starter moreish. Staff knowledgeable, attentive and engaging without being intrusive. Very impressed and will go again for sure. Make sure you book in the evenings, got quite busy from 7pm onwards.
First off, I'm a vegetarian, so that may be why my experience was different from most. Even so, I disliked the majority of my food, and found it pretty bland. My original starter was, in my opinion, one of the most disgusting things I've eaten, and also smelt. The waiter picked up on my dislike for the starter and repeatedly asked if he could get us anything else, or a menu. We finally caved and be ran through the menu, which was a nice touch, to try and find something I would prefer. It was very nice of him to come and read through the menu, and made it feel like the waiters care about you enjoying your evening. My second starter was very enjoyable, but it's just a shame we went through the hassel, I would've prefered not to have had it. I then had the tagliatelle for main, which was nothing to shout about, I had to pour the creamed spinach on it so that it had some flavour though. Desert, was actually nice. I recommend the chocolate fudge cake. What became really disappointing to us though, was when the bill arrived and we had been charged for the original starter. Which is fine, I can understand why, but when your waiter is so pushy about making sure you have both had a starter you enjoyed, and you've turned him down a couple of times until you cave, you sort of assume that this won't be at any extra charge to yourself. Overall, if you love steak, this place would probably be much better for you, after all, it is a steakhouse. For 2 people to eat a 3 course meal and 1 drink each 3 starters, without any steaks it came to £90, so maybe also keep that in mind.
One of the best steaks I've had! The restaurant was really nice, great ambiance not so loud like the majority of restaurants these days, the staff were very welcoming and attentive and the wine selection was good too. I think I've found my new favourite steakhouse, cannot wait to go back!
