Small but great place with atmospheric interior, a mite hint of . Very pleasant members of staff and tasty food! I ordered ALABAMA breakfast without black pudding. Portion of dish - perfect . One of the best BBQ sauces. Fully recommended and definitely come back!

I have been coming to Buddies for years now and the food has always been great. Service is good, even when it’s busy the waitress/waiters will get to you in good time. The decor is great and makes you feel like you are no longer in Northampton! The only down side I have found is that when I have order spicy bean burgers they are actually curry burgers so it doesn’t really go well with the fillings of the burger. Apart from that it’s great and all at a really good price.
We've been visiting buddies on and off over the years. It had been a little while since we were last here and unfortunately we were quite disappointed with the quality of food and staff attitude this visit. Buddies make a big deal of priding themselves on everything being handmade yet the veggie burger was just a bland frozen one. Fries were also boring with no seasoning. The only thing which was really tasty was the coleslaw side! Staff weren't at their best. They tried giving us our bill before we'd even finished our food which we found quite rude. They didn't come over to ask how our meals were either. We used to love coming here but the place is definitely slipping downhill. We hope they up their game because it really did used to be an amazing place.

Great atmosphere and service with a smile. I've come here a lot and always found it to be the same consistent experience. Food is done in a timely manner, presented well and tasty. I've been a vegetarian for many years and I'm always impressed that there is plenty of choice. We'll done to staff and management.
Loved it so yummy! Careful tho the milkshakes are huuuge
