Only given one star because the option to leave NONE was not possible. After our car was wrote off on Sunday, we were passed to Bucks who arranged a courtesy car - was delivered with a gaping hole in one tyre & rubber missing from another. Driver was rude & intimidating. Told us it was fine & to get a new one fitted ourselves. We didn't choose this company, our insurance arranged them. But I would most definitely NOT reccomend them.
Hired Ford Transit during pandemic, Lovely Ride with out any problem, staff were very friendly, and pickup and drop off were both super easy. Definitely I will use them again.

We needed to hire a van to move some stuff from London to Poland, then spend a few days looking for a new house, then back to London. Easy? Well - you try finding a company hiring automatics! We found BCH after some searching, fixed a bookig by phone and turned up to collect the van. We were alloted a nearly-new Renault Trafic, auto, CD, etc. It was spotless and performed very well on our trip, tacking the autobahn with apparent glee and managing the Polish hills very well. The only problem - the passenger seat was bloody uncomfortable for the wide-of-seat. For hire, we'd definitely use BCH again. For purchase, I'd be happy with the Renault, but budget to replace that seat if your own is of the wider persuastion!
Car rental was confirmed by email but when we showed up at the appointed time, the place was closed. We called and were told that they did not have a car for us and that a cancellation email had been sent. We received no such email. There were a handful of cars in the small yard. One was in decent condition, one had construction material in it, one shabby car contained a dirty old car seat, two others were filthy and parked in some bushes, clearly not usable. Bottom line is if you want the security of knowing that the car you rented will actually be available when you need it, look elsewhere. Response to owner: Here are the facts - You emailed confirmation in response to our very clear reservation which detailed precisely which countries we would be visiting. You did not cancel the reservation. No one was in the office at the appointed time, which was during regular business hours, giving the impression that you wished to avoid us. When we called, you said you would investigate and return our call in 10 minutes. We are still waiting for that call.
Will try to con you out of your deposit 150 quid Had a replacement tyre while driving and their spare was a 'temp' so had to replace it with a branded tyre in Kwikfit. after the check and returned, they called and said since it was not a 'branded' tyre they were keeping the deposit as they had to replace the tyre with a branded one [which costs . . . . 150quid - gasp]. Smelled a big rat but since they already got my money and wasn't going to return it.
