Our favourite ice cream discovery since moving to Yorkshire, however we have come to avoid the Knaresborough shop due to the utterly hostile service from the one lady who appears to work there. On every single occasion we have experienced the same abrupt and unfriendly service and in trying again yesterday with our three year old daughter at 4:45pm we were told she was closing and my daughter disappointingly went without. Ice cream has always been such a simple pleasure, yet this one store has turned the experience utterly sour. Unsurprisingly I see many other comments. This is just terrible for business Brymoor, we are all entitled to the odd bad day but this is clearly service as standard!
Quirky little shop, run by a very Yorkshire lady. The rum and raisin ice-cream was a treat. Better value than most ice-cream shops in Knaresborough. Pay her a visit would be my recommendation.
Today I went to Brymor for a bottle of water and and Ice cream as we have heard a lot of good things about them. Unfortunately, the woman who was service was extremely rude and unfriendly. I'm not sure whether she is the owner or just works there but she was so off hand and unpleasant that we left without ordering. There was a family there as well and they were asked very abruptly to stand outside. They ended up asking a couple where else they could get ice cream from and walking away as well. Brymor is in a prime location for attracting business from the tourists who come to the town and if they are met with the same unwelcoming, hostile service as we had today then it will be detrimental to Brymor's business.
Went in this morning for 2 small tubs of ice cream, the woman behind the counter didn't acknowledge us, just looked at us as though we shouldn't be in there, after ordering our Ice cream, she proceeded to the till and barked how much it came to. Perhaps she was having a bad day! Don't think we will use it again next time we visit Knaresborough.
The ice cream is very good , but don’t expect service with a smile or even for lady at till to acknowledge you when you say hello
I love this place... the whole place is amazing. From the kids play area to being able to stroke the cows. Their choice of flavours is amazing, never before have I had such a wonderful range to choose from, there is also a massive amount and other products there too. There is also a viewing area so while having your amazing ice cream you can sit and watch the birds on the feeders, its peaceful and really relaxing.
Lovely staff, banana & mango cone was just amazing. I'll come back here for more next time I'm in town. And to save you some hassle - it's cash only.
Always go to this little treasure of the town, never disappoints. Lovely ice cream & a great spot to see the bed races! Definitely recommend
Great choice of ice creams. Always friendly staff. Kiddie cones available at a reasonable price as well.
