I did a 7 day direct access 0-Hero course with Bryans just recently in September '22. Im thrilled to say I passed my full bike licence with zero minors on both my Mod 1 and Mod 2. I cannot thank the team more, my main instructor was John - he was incredible. Whilst Kev, Trish and Jim where equally supporting and amazing too throughout the course. The teams professionalism is first rate, and everyone makes it a fun yet safe and relaxed environment in which to learn within. The equipment brand new BMW bikes and clothing is first rate and really made the experience a pleasure. I had heard so many horror stories from family and friends when it came to doing their Motorbike licences elsewhere and 'on the cheap', and honestly it's just not worth it. Spend the money, don't hesitate, do it the right way. I cannot recommend Bryans Rider Training more - I will be back to do advance rider training in the future for sure
Did an intensive course with Bryan’s through the BMW Rookie to Rider scheme and was very impressed all the way through. Our instructor John was extremely professional and knowledgeable, getting us through the course while still having a sense of humour and a laugh. The other staff all seem extremely friendly too. The bikes are all very nice, new bikes. Very comfortable to ride and beginner friendly. Will definitely be looking in to this school when I come to upgrade my licence, can’t recommend them enough.
Can't possibly say enough about how brilliant it is to train at this motorcycle riding school. All of the instructors are friendly, helpful and truly want to see you succeed. I did a 6 day intensive course with John who was patient and attentive. Everything was tailored to my skill level and the training was genuinely good fun. Will absolutely be back for advanced rider training!
I passed! Seriously can’t thank everyone enough, Roz for taking me through the CBT , Jim for settling my nerves and John for giving me countless tips / tricks and Kev for taking me out during my time training here! You will LOVE training here, everyone is such a character which makes it so much fun!!! I can’t recommend this place enough, enjoyed every day training here and learnt so much when it came to MOD 1 & 2! I can’t wait to come back and do my advanced rider training here soon, don’t even think just book it up and enjoy the ride!!
If you are looking for a friendly, professional and highly skilled team of instructors to help you get your motorcycle license, you simply CANNOT go wrong with Bryan’s BMW Rider Training. From the moment I arrived I was made to feel at ease and everything was explained in full. John is an incredible instructor and adapted to my way of learning to help me understand how to ride safely and confidently. Even when I became frustrated at my own, elementary mistakes, John remained calm, professional and eased me through the training. John was my instructor for the week but the whole team were behind me when I went for my tests and supported me along the way when my nerves were getting the better of me at some points. Thank you to everyone at Bryan’s. Cone but not forgotten!!
Great school, very nice staff! Had 4 of my friends to do the Cbt there , all in one day! 3 of them don’t speak English very well and they allowed me to translate! Now we all ride 125s , looking to go for full licence, and they are the perfect choice!
Just done a 7 day intensive course including CBT . Passed both Mod 1 and Mod 2 on the same day , due to the instructors . Cannot thank John enough very patient and knowledgeable with many tips. Thanks to Roz for her help and patients also . The whole team are excellent and very helpful. The equipment is very good and the bikes are very well maintained. If you want to learn to ride this is the place, well worth the money. Thanks to Kevin and all the team for everything .
I'm incredibly happy to have passed the 7 day intensive course! Trish is super helpful and organised. Jim laid the foundations for safe riding in the CBT and Roz is really astute at developing your skills and confidence to become a competent biker. The motorbikes are mint and well maintained. Each step to progress from a 125, 310 and a 750 is reinforced with defensive riding knowledge, followed by the familiarisation of the controls and manoeuvring around cones before embarking on the road. Knowing the F750GS has ABS is reassuring for the emergency stops because you can feel it kick in and, it gets up to the target speed for the Mod1 test with ease. The 750 handling is confident and I found it easier for doing the figure of eights. Every day involved plenty of road riding broken up by Mod1 test practice, finishing with a debrief and an agreed focus for the next day. As the Mod1 test approached the practice time increased to perfect the skills. I had plenty of eureka moments and the team including John and Tara showed genuine interest in how I was progressing and provided advice. By the end of the course and, from all the road time, the safe riding reflexes were so ingrained that the Mod2 test was surprisingly relaxed and comfortable. Can't ask for anything more than that. Highly recommend the intensive course, it's tiring but the extra days of riding and the momentum to get you through the tests are worth it.
I've recently passed my A2 Licence with them and I've got nothing but positive things to say. Roz my instructor was amazing. She was very knowledgable and a brilliant instructor. I went into both tests with complete confidence. The facilities and equipment was top-notch too. New bikes and gear, even a full size mod 1 practice area. I thoroughly enjoyed my time here and will definitely be coming back for my full A licence, see you in 2 years.
My sincere thanks go to all the team at Bryan’s. 5 stars for all aspects of the training, equipment, facilities etc etc. The whole 7 day experience couldn’t have been better for me, from the warm welcome from everyone the minute I walked in to the training school, to completing mod 1 and mod 2 on the last day. The team made me feel completely relaxed and reassured throughout the course. After some not so great experiences at a couple of other training schools, I can honestly say the guys and girls at Bryan’s are simply great at what they do.
