The Community Mental Health Team has now moved to this building. During my recent appointment, I was required to wait in the main reception area shared with all Council services. Seating was limited, which could cause difficulties for people with limited mobility. The space is constantly busy and positioned near the main entrance, making it far from a calm or safe environment for vulnerable individuals.nnMy appointment room was located down multiple steps and along a long, grey corridor, an environment that felt drab and unwelcoming, especially for anyone in crisis. The lack of privacy from mixing healthcare with local government services is also concerning.nnBy contrast, the former Gowanlea building at least offered a warmer, more inviting atmosphere, with colourful patient artwork on display.
Very slow to do anything when you arrive.nOften feels like you are not important to them
Clean and tidy. Very friendly staff and very helpful.
