Was here for breakfast which is supposed to be help yourself was given the option of 7.49 or 4.99 took 4.99 breakfast and was not given the choice of what items we wanted so for four people there was a lot of wasted food surely if it is a help your self that means you choice not given one off everything waitress did not explain very well and them had attitude when asked will never set foot in premises ago picture shows what has been wasted
Staff were so welcoming and friendly food was spot on great value for money
A 5 star experience last night! The Waitress who was also Duty Manager for the night was very attentive and efficient. We were served promptly and the food came very quick and was fresh and hot! Very well done! Keep it up!!Food: 5/5
The food was good, and the service was better than my 3 stars suggests. The staff were friendly, orders were taken and food delivered quickly which was great because we were there with a young one. There were a couple of things that could've been better, but would still recommend this place to othersFood: 5/5
I have a Gluten intolerance and staff were exceptional in supporting my choices in this. The rest of the group also had outstanding service and meals. The staff here really deserve recognition for our experience tonight.
Booked for 7 at tea time on a Sunday, note on door stated they would be closing early, staffing issues I believe. This became apparent as our meal progressed, took a long time to get order taken and was over half an hour till we got our drinks. Wasnt really that busy so was frustrating to see a staff member, manager we assumed, generally just walking about never seemed to serve/clear No issues with our food or the server and will be back as generally a fine place for a group of all ages, and dietary needs to eat, will put this down as an exception not the rule
Terrible service, alot of food off the menu, gammon was tough as old boots and really, really, really salty! Clearly the chef dosnt realise you should First soak the gammon to remove the excess salt! Peas tasted weird, they left a horrible after taste. Lemonade had no syrup and was actually just a glass of soda water. There was something floating in the milk. My whole family felt sick after eating here. The only response we got was that they buy the meats in so they have no control over it! ‍ I wont be back.
Food probably 3.5 stars, decent options for non-meat eaters but rating brought down by service, waited approximately 25 minutes for requested salad bowls after ordering, eventually had to ask for said bowls from another member of staff in the very quiet restaurant, salad bar practically empty and whatever was left was far from fresh. Once food had arrived we enjoyed our meals but sat at least half an hour with empty plates and glasses, had to approach the bar where servers and bar tenders were chatting and giggling away to ask for our bill which was delivered unprofessionally with staff still chatting and giggling, and on duty manager observing the interaction and unprofessional behaviour. A shame for a restaurant with decent food to be brought down by mediocre-poor service.
Ordered a takeaway. While I was waiting I was asked to help myself to the salad bar. I came away with two boxes of salad and my cod , chips and peas plus two generous ice creams were ready. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The food was lovely. Would highly recommend. Thank you. This was a gift voucher.
