Absolutely stunning setting, whether you're a golfer or not. Plenty on offer from spa and bar to restaurant and acres of countryside to explore.
Loved the parkland golf course as well as the pro’s. The organised a thorough training, without to much fuss, easy to contact via email and telephone. Amazing views with a mansion! Make sure you try their afternoon tea!
Nice and quiet driving range at very reasonable prices also very friendly and helpful to a new golfer that doesn’t fit your usual golfer stereotype. Will be back to use more of the facilities soon.
Beautiful building. Beautiful surroundings. Bedroom was dirty, dust, walls need painting, no headboard so wall behind was scuffed. Bedding and bed was clean. Bed was very comfy and extremely peaceful environment Bathroom really needs an upgrade, dirty, mouldy, radiator loose and skirting board not fixed to the wall. Bar, sadly lacking in atmosphere. Bar and tables were sticky, no drip mats which leaves marks everywhere. Piles of unwashed glasses on the bar. Dinner service. Service was very poor. Food that had been ordered had been missed, we asked for water, needed to ask again. Wrong wine was brought up, cutlery needed a good polish and fish/steak knives weren't provided. Hunted for condiments which had been left off the table. Cheese board was sent, no plates or cutlery, staff needed to be reminded about drinks again. Limited menu, however food was very good, let down by poor service. Reasonably priced. Breakfast. Lovely buffet selection and service was so much better. We had a cooked breakfast, which was tasty but not that warm. Would I visit again...possibly, because of location.
Great view! Well priced and delicious food. The only downside was one bar staff who wasn't wearing a mask as per WA mandate while attending all tables. Her level of service and attitude was poor. Apart from her, golf club is great
Played an inter club competition there, the opposition were extremely friendly and hospitable. The course has wide fairways but heavy rough will penalise you if you find it. All in all a most enjoyable day even though the course was extremely dry because of the heatwave.
Beautiful manicured golf course would recommend to anybody wishing to have a challenge
The course is challenging but with no actual clubhouse l wouldn't call it a golf club. It seems to be an expensive hotel with an 18 hole course attached.
Great course and at 20 quid for a twilight, decent price
Lovely course but the greens on the front 9 were not great, back 9 much better but £35 for the round was a little much due to course upkeep.
