A quiet and nice place with a big walk path. Plan for the change in weather and pack an umbrella with you. Perfect place to take your dogs for a walk.

Great country park with woodland to explore with children - there is good cafe onsite as well.
Nice little park to wonder around. Great little area for kids to play around. Easy and accessible car park, with charging costs not too bad price Overall, nice for a little stroll if you happen to be in the area!
Lovely park for a family day out - there is a large play area, a den building area, different walks to take in the forest and ample parking. A new coffeeshop Jenno's is opening in September, which will make it even better!
It's a lovely park for the kids, lots of animal walkers, Playground: A few places for the kids play time. Dog-friendliness: Very much so.
Great cafe, good walks but the play equipment has had its day, missing swings and loose bolts etc and I know it cannot be helped too much with the weather... But the whole toddler area was completely water logged and un useable... Think the play areas just need some TLC.
Absolutely loved spending the afternoon here today. Children enjoyed every moment being here. From the walk, to the age appropriate play grounds to the den making area!! I have some very creative children, they didn't want to leave!! The park was very clean which made our experience so much nicer. It was awesome to be out amongst nature and hear the birds through the trees. The coffee shop is usually open, but the times vary. All in all the park is perfect for every age, from the young ones to the older ones and everything in-between!!
I tried to attend a meeting about the local plan organised by the borough council but had great difficulty finding it due to a lack of signage. When I eventually managed to get to the council reception through a security door, they had not been told where it was. It turned out to be outside in the wind and rain so we left wasting a car park fee from an over complicated machine. Before it was turned into council offices the building was very pleasant with educational information and accessible to the public. Alas no more.
Great outdoor space, decent large slide, climbing, swings, monkey ropes. Keeps kids active climbing up and down the hill in the middle of the park. And the trails and paths around are amazing with wildlife information stands and a brilliant den building area in the woods. Hot drinks and cafe facilities too, what is there not to like about this place! Highly recommend
