We stayed in the hotel for two nights. The rooms as very clean with plenty of towels. The bed was comfy and the room was nice and warm in this cold weather. Tea and coffee facilities available in the rooms. The only downside is the bathroom is quite narrow but spotless with bath and shower. Reception staff were very friendly. We ate in the restaurant and the food was good value for money as is the drink. Very pleasant atmosphere but can get very busy later on at night. Again staff very friendly. Clean toilets despite the crowds in the bar and restaurant. Very happy with the visit and will definitely be back Rooms: Clean tidy and comfy. You do not hear any noise coming from the bar or restaurant. Food & drinks: Tasty food and drink all at a reasonable price
Very poor service this evening from this establishment, arrived with my wife and my friend and ordered some food together and drinks for my friends food to arrive before mine and my wife’s the time had past my 20 mins so I asked a member of staff if he knew where the rest of our food order was as our food was now cold due to waiting for ours, the attitude given back was appalling and told us “it is what it is” you’ll just have to wait. At this point I asked to speak to the manager to then be told “I am the manager” we regularly go to all different weatherspoons and the service here shocked us, would avoid this one!
That was my first stay in a Wetherspoons hotel and I was pleasantly surprised. The rooms are basic but perfectly functional, and there’s a Wetherspoons pub downstairs. Maybe not one for Valentine’s Day or an anniversary but perfect for lads trips etc.
Don’t expect the best from these places but this was bad . Absolutely no care at all put into the food , just thrown on the plate. Everything seemed to be precooked and just warmed up but even that wasn’t done properly as food was just warm even tho chips .Stake was order MR came out pretty well done !Hope it’s one of the ones they close . I for one will not go back there . Whoever sent this from the kitchen should be ashamed of themselves but hey I suppose it comes from the top , trying to save costs . Staff where fine
Been coming for years, never disappoints. Nice food, great atmosphere at reasonable prices
If you accept the brand then the Brocket Arms is OK. Clean Rooms, comfy bed. Hot and cold room, cold near window hot further away. Food service fine but quality below ecpect Wetherspoon standards. Cold plates therefore breakfast cool. Toast needs to be in the toaster not just shown it!
Excellent staff whom always cater for your needs within the hotel as well as the eating environment. Reasonable rates . Nothing is too much trouble . Would highly recommend.
What looks like a hotel room and reception at first . But very large eating and drinking area round the back . Good clean pub . Very knowledgeable staff and good variety of food and drink xService: 4/5
Great place and location but the food i had was abit over cooked and dry and in some places very crispy but great service
Good parking and lovely food, service was fantastic. Rooms are a bit dated and basic. But, aside from the room it was great.Rooms: 3/5
