I used to go Brixton Cake Shop the Brixton branch years ago and just haven't made to the Herne Hill branch until today. The cakes looked so nice, I was only after a slice of rainbow cake but ended up buying more. I was served by a friendly member of staff. I've just tried the rainbow cake and it is delicious. Thank you Brixton Cake Shop!
Had to give this shop a positive review. I don’t give reviews very often but they deserve it. Ordered my son’s birthday cake cookies and cream flavour, but then me and my partner caught covid, so we had to delay his party by a week. We call BCS up and explained they kindly offered to freeze the cake for a week and collection the following Saturday. The cake was NICE, lovely and soft, moist and absolutely perfect. Everyone enjoyed it. I added the minecraft edible decals. I’m a regular at this shop and I believe cake should not only be for special occasions, so I make sure to stop in once a month for my slice of vanilla cake as a treat to myself They never disappoint. Best cake shop around, will always order my kids cakes from here. You won’t be disappointed. Keep up the good work guys
Quick delivery. Picture is of apple pie. Had a vegan salted caramel cake as well. That was delish. Also ordered strawberry cake that is still in the fridge. Picture to follow. I love my cakes and sometimes I crave them, which is only natural. Listen to your body. Eat cake.
Brixton cake shop is the best we use them 5 to 6 time a year for all the children birthdays and have never been disappointed. The cakes are delicious. There cakes always make our birthdays even more special
RUDE!!! Absolutely disgusting customer service this morning!!! I have been using this cake shop for many many years! I have recommend them to friends and family and on the internet. I have gone out of my way to recommend them on forums for years! However, today was the last day I will ever step foot in this shop again!! This morning I arrived at the cake shop at 9.40am I saw a closed sign on the door and a young lady cleaning. I read the opening hours which read 10am so I returned to my car to wait. I waited until they opened the door and flipped the closed sign to open! at 9:58am To me that clearly indicated that the shop was open! I went inside and proceeded to place my order with the young lady that was serving me. Then all of a sudden an erratic woman wearing a green jumper came over and shouted " WE ARE CLOSED! CAN YOU WAIT OUTSIDE UNTIL WE ARE OPEN!" I replied and said " The door is open and this young lady is serving me"......??? she then said "WELL SHE HAS THINGS TO DO! COME BACK IN 2 MINS WHEN WE ARE OPEN!!! " and started to clap her hands in anger! This woman was wearing a green jumper, was white/Mediterranean looking with a foreign accent that sounded European I have never seem her before. I'm assuming she is the manager.... a terrible one if she is I'm included this information as I think it's relevant to help the owners know which member or staff is being rude to customers and losing them business I'm assuming that she is not the owner as I would not believe someone who owns a business would treat their customers this way. She then followed me to the door and flipped the open sign back to closed! She did not need to be so rude and aggressive, she could have easily said "Good morning sir, we will be with you in 2 mins". if she needed the extra 2 mins, but she actually done all of this in the middle of me placing my order! I did not go back in the shop and continue with my order and I will not be retuning or reccomending. I will now be looking for a new shop for our birthday and Christmas cakes.
Thank you again Brixton Cake shop. I’m all the way in the United States and will continue to order my nieces cake from you she resides in London. She’s over the moon happy, she’s a chocolate lover and you never disappoint.
Came in here to order a cake same day for my partner’s 30th. They made it within a couple hours and the cake was unreal. Very tasty and will come back again :
Absolutely the best cakes I've ever tasted, my family always look forward to a special occasion so we can order Brixton Cake Shop Cakes. Wanted to mention Chris, who I believe is the manager, who really impressed me with exceptional customer service a few months back. As long as the shop stays standing, this is the only place we'll order from. Thank you!
